NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Governor Bill Haslam has released a statement calling for Donald Trump to step aside and let Governor Mike Pence take the lead as the Republican partys nominee.

“I wonder how many of these Republicans have illegal alien maids and go home to their mistresses every night”
I can’t count that high.
Why ? who is this guy? never heard of him— is he a GOPe butt boy?
In other words, Haslam thinks that Hillary is winning the intergrity issue.
In other words, he’s full of it.
Well I wouldn’t trust those Mormons as far as I could throw one of them, that their size tells me it isn’t very far!!!
“Maybe you ought to work at helping Tennessee...”
Casting stones, newcomer?
I guess your Republican governor is loudly proclaiming his support for Trump in this matter.
Was that the RINO plot in the first place?
It was only a question of time until they sprung the trap.
Well...Rep. Marsha Blackburn isn’t so bad (my district).
SHUT YOUR PIEHOLE, HASLAM!!!!
“Common Core” is exactly what the Corporatists from big business and big banks want.
One thing about it that makes a heck of lot of sense from their perspective is abandoning cursive writing because that’s how people write checks as an example.
A cashless, checkless society cuts costs for business and banks.....
Glenn Beck made a lot of noise about opposing it in recent years. Where is he now? Was his opposition just another charade of many put by the so-called “conservative media” in this country.
They’re all dirty and they either know what the machine has on them or they WORRY about what the machine has on them. We’ve been electing crooks forever. The problem is, starting with Clinton, there’s no more honor among thieves.
Another half-wit!
The vast majority of republicans haven’t said anything. Some have voiced support for trump. Only a particular subset has trashed him and most of them did it immediately.
Should we hold the entire party accountable or just the back stabbers?
I’m from Tennessee...You know, the state that saved Texas’ butt from the Mexicans back in 1836...Crockett and Sam Houston...In fact, Sam’s mother is buried in our church’s cemetery...Baker Creek Presbyterian Church...
I recently retired from 54 years of continued employment (including 8 years in the military)...
I think I can cast stones at MY governor if I wish...
Now, tell me what you think of your esteemed Junior Senator???
We need to understand that they are pretend conservatives.
Heck, only nine members of the GOP caucus voted against Ryan for Speaker.
I think its symptomatic of 95 percent of elected Republicans overall with some too afraid to speak up like the others have.
I am voting Trump/Pence
From that point on, I am going to be very careful on whom I vote for.
The (D) and the (R) mean nothing to me anymore
Maybe I won’t vote or vote 3rd party if they are drugged out idiots. But I will see.
Yeah, I’m a “newcomer”...I recently retired and now have the time to come in here and post...
Besides, it’s not how long a person has been here, it’s what they say when they are here...
I still don’t see how any of the other 16 or so candidates from 2015 could defeat Mrs. Bill either. I personally liked Santorum, but he couldn’t win PA either. I don’t see how TCruz could take PA, and Kay Sick never beyond the realm of the Buckeyes. Our little Republican primary voters seem a confused lot, but their “leadership” is worse.
It's down to the wire and they're scared Trump might win. He wasn't supposed to win. If he wins, it's over for them.
What we are seeing is the last-ditch effort on behalf of the GOP establishment to hobble Trump by demotivating evangelicals so that they'll stay home.
