The batch of emails released by Wikileaks on October 7 includes one in which Hillary Clinton press secretary Brian Fallon explained that Clinton “would support…closing the gun show loophole by executive order.” Fallon also highlighted Clinton’s support of universal background checks–which have already failed in California, Colorado, Washington state, and Paris–and her support for a scenario wherein victims of crime would be able to sue gun manufacturers.
In the email, dated October 4, 2015, Fallon mentions that Today had made clear they were going to ask Clinton about guns. At that time she was still locked in a tougher stance than expected primary opponent Bernie Sanders. Fallon wrote:
Circling back around on guns as a follow up to the Friday morning discussion: the Today show has indicated they definitely plan to ask bout guns, and so to have the discussion be more of a news event than her previous times discussing guns, we are going to background reporters tonight on a few of the specific proposals she would support as President – universal background checks of course, but also closing the gun show loophole by executive order and imposing manufacturer liability.

Time to wake up and focus on priorities.

This lady agrees with you 100% Nothing Trump said in the past will stop this lady from voting for him. While no decent moral person can approve of what he said, it's in the past. None of us have led perfect lives. There is nobody alive that hasn't said or done something they are ashamed of. Most of us haven't had video cameras and microphones in our face our entire lives either.
Most men in the South are careful about what they say about and around women, even today. I'm old enough to know that men often talk differently around the "guys" than they do when women are present. I have seen a lot of red faces and purple ears when men are caught saying something they know is wrong when they thought only the guys were listening and goofing around. That is not who they are.
I don't condone the behavior but in most cases I know that it's all talk, not what these men are in their hearts.
As I posted on another thread, I wonder if he knew he was being recorded and what does it say about a man(Bush) who would record something like that and hang onto it for *11 YEARS*?

That's worse in my book that what Trump was baited into bragging about. I read the transcript of the conversation and it sure seemed to me like he was steered into it by leading comments from Bush.

I think a lot of these attacks on Trump’s character are being done by Republicans. I don’t think this will hurt him long term but it sure is exposing the roaches in the Republican party to the light. This just proves to me that both parties are exactly the same. There are very few in the party that I would vote for because the Reps are just as bad as the Dems.
I doubt Trump knew he was being recorded and even if he had he had no idea at the time he would someday run for office and it might come back to bite him. That is what I love about him. He didn’t have to do this. He didn’t have to spend so much of his own money, damage his businesses, and drag his family through so much mud. We need a non-politician now more than ever.

I think we should force every Syrian refugee to buy a gun. That way, at least, we can have our government look into their background, at least a little bit.

I do believe that all this so-called nonsense about what Trump said or did not say will all be going down the memory hole very quickly and soon this will all be forgotten.
