Haitians like Andre may sound a bit strident, but he and the protesters had good reason to be disgruntled. They had suffered a heavy blow from Mother Nature, and now it appeared that they were being battered again — this time by the Clintons. Their story goes back to 2010, when a massive 7.0 earthquake devastated the island, killing more than 200,000 people, leveling 100,000 homes, and leaving 1.5 million people destitute.

If the Clinton’s did withhold donations from Haiti and she is strutting around in $1200.00 jackets. She has no character, no shame, no dignity.

One of the jackets was reportedly 12,000 dollars - not 1200.

Stealing the donations or returning anything less than 90 cents on the dollar to the people it was intended for is deplorable to borrow Hillary’s word.
Haiti is the perfect example of what the Clinton’s do and it is a compelling and heartbreaking backstop - you have it all - outright theft, outlandish pay and travel for administration, and complete pay to play where funds are laundered and guess who probably picked up many of the bills? Yep, that is right - the State Department.

Actually saw a tweet last night from the Clinton Foundation asking for money to help Haiti LOL I couldn’t stop laughing
We stumbled on one of the storage areas in southern Mississippi. We were headed to Baton Rouge to visit my sister-in-law. It was a few years after Katrina & we were doing a side trip to Biloxi, because my brother got electronics training at the Air Force Base there. Way out in the boonies filling the hillsides,along a two lane road, were thousands of FEMA trailers as far as the eyes could see. I guess they sat there rotting until after the Haiti earthquake.
I have no doubt the Clintons et al. pocketed a sizeable portion of the Haiti Earthquake Relief funds.
However, "send money" is the most effective way to deal with large scale crises. It is easier & cheaper to buy & ship a container load of Blankets/Clothes/Food Staples, etc. than it is to collect, sort, pack & distribute small quantities of the above items purchased by well-meaning individuals at their local supermarket, Walmart, etc.
Often donated items are either inappropriate or totally useless. Even aid agencies sometimes send useless items. During the East African famine of 1980-81 relief agencies sent 100lb sacks of wheat flour to starving pastoral tribes in NW Kenya. This aid was supposed to be administered & distributed by one expat nurse working among them. These folks did not have a clue as to what to do with wheat flour. The lone nurse could not teach thousands to make dough and then bake the bread by wrapping it around a green stick held over a fire.
What was needed was corn meal ("Ugali" to make "Posho"). She also needed lots of milk powder and infant formula. Sometimes "send money" is the wisest thing to do.
Of course, that also makes it easier for scoundrels to steal, but that is a different matter. If anyone sends money to most governments or quasi governmental organizations, at least 70% will be last, wasted or stolen.

I don’t know if they were condemed or not.
I do know that many that the Taxpayers paid for, for temp use for Katrina homeless never were used and sat in open storage fields for several years.
They were then trucked to the east coast to ship overseas.
