Federal ethics rules are crystal-clear: government employees “shall act impartially and not give preferential treatment to any private organization or individual.” But that’s not how it worked in Hillary Clinton’s State Department.
Bill Gertz of the Free Beacon has done us all a favor by combing through the emails recovered from Hillary Clinton’s server deletions, and revealing the way business really is done at the highest levels of Beltway Banditry when a Clinton wants something to happen.
The story he puts together demonstrates that Hillary “recommended” Chelsea’s “best friend” for government contracts to influence policy-making at the State Department and Defense Department. It is well worth reading in its entirety, because it constitutes a portrait of the way business really is done.

Rules are for little people. That truly appears to be their mindset, along with much of Washington.

Those are really just “guidelines” and are for the “regular people”, not the Clintons. You are trying to apply general laws and rules to Hillary and, as James Comey has pointed out, that is just not done.
That thinking is why we are where we are.

This is nothing new for Hillary. Unbelievably my family was on the losing end of a situation where Hillary was doing a favor for a friend that put us in a hardship for a few years.
Hillary says she’d like to munch that carpet.
My grandfather was in government and was so scrupulous he would wrap up and send back any gifts that valued one penny over the limit back then. It’s disgusting how the Clintons just grab anything they can.

Hillary Clinton is the politician version of Leona Helmsley, both butt-ugly megalomaniacs. The difference was Helmsley went to jail, and she didn’t even have enemies knocked off.
