DJT did release the substantive bottom line of his tax returns. Sent 3 pages to the MSM which admits he lost a billion and, by obvious consequence, legally hasn’t had to pay income tax since. If the Left doesn’t like it, they’ve had decades to close that well known “loophole”.
(I’m liking the theory that the return address on the “leaked” package was an honest admission that Trump himself approved, even originated, the “leak”.)
Exactly right.
This whole thing drives me crazy.
Trump knows the law. Trump follows the law. No one is saying that Trump has broken the law. And yet the media is outraged and considers this to be a "scandal".
Meanwhile, Hillary's campaign is funded by foreigners, she clearly was involved in pay-for-play, she intentionally mishandled and disseminated classified documents, she lied to the FBI. She lied to Congress. And all of these violations of the law are received with a shrug.
And the focus relentlessly comes back to a private citizen to filed his tax returns perfectly correctly. And outrage ensues.
“Sent 3 pages to the MSM which admits he lost a billion and, by obvious consequence, legally hasnt had to pay income tax since.”
No one knows how far forward the carried losses went. Trump wrote a book in 1997 titled: “The Art of the Comeback”. That means he was out of the woods in 1997. Personally I doubt his 1995 losses carried forward to now.
Eric actually says “yes” about his father paying income tax in this interview;

DJT could only probably get part of that big number taken off each year which is why the #18 keeps popping up.
This year he claimed company income of 900+ million.
He lost 250 million a year giving up his show.
He’s worth 11 billion.
By the time he paid tens of thousands of payrolls, real estate taxes, business taxes and so forth he probably earned 30 billion to pocket the 11 billion even with the 50 million dollar deduction over 18 years.
