Commercial fishing boat owners and groups are reacting to the executive action taken by President Obama that created a marine national preserve in the North Atlantic on Sept. 15. They say that banning commercial fishing there is unnecessary, since the fishing industry has already been working with government agencies on conservation measures.

Things like this should be required to go through a Congressional vote not some dictatorial decree from the president.
It should be based on sound conservation and scientific principles and input from all those who will be affected.

And whats even worse, as a consequence of not understanding how the federal government works, fishermen might help to reelect the same lawmakers who are remaining silent about Obamas action.
Trump should absolutely use this as a campaign issue. Promising to rollback this executive order and bring back the New England fishing industry jobs.
