Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump took to Twitter early Friday morning to go to war with his latest campaign nemesis: former Miss Universe Alicia Machado.
During the debate earlier this week, Democrat Hillary Clinton brought up Trump’s past weight-shaming comments about Machado, who was Miss Venezuela when Trump took over the Miss Universe beauty pageant in 1996. Machado, now a well-known actress in Latin America, says Trump once called her “fat,” “ugly” and “Miss Piggy,” among other things.
In tweets posted a little after 5 a.m. on Friday, Trump brought up reports indicating that Machado was once accused of driving a getaway car from a murder scene in Venezuela. (Earlier this week, CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked Machado, who was never charged, about the allegation. She admitted to not being a “saint girl” but said the real issue at hand was Trump’s attempt to “destroy my self-esteem.”) Trump also suggested that the public “check out” Machado’s “sex tape and past.”

Trump needs to STFU about anything that isn’t ON MESSAGE. He needs to not allow himself to be baited. He needs to start running aggressive ads NOW and lay off the all-night tweets.
There are less than 40 days until the election. He needs to hit the Message hard: Economy. Jobs. Health Care. Freedom. Security. Supreme Court. Hillary is an existential threat. She is an Alinskyite and her ultimate goal is to CRASH THE SYSTEM.

No, I watched a Trump campaign speech a couple days ago. He was obviously sick and not at the top of his game. His schedule is punishing and given the huge issues he forgot to mention in the debate I would say his tactical game plan needs work.

Correctamundo, but the segment of the electorate Hillary is trying to target with her attacks are either too young to remember or need to be reminded of Bill and Hillary Clinton's Politics of Personal Destruction jihad, his “bimbo eruptions” , the assassinations of Bill's Arkansas enforcers and at least one female White House Intern .
Hillary's abuse of women can only be understood in light of the events that created it so some reminders of the Clinton Years and how Bill and Hilary cold hearted destroyed the lives of all of their FRIENDS and ASSOCIATES along with their “enemies” (people who could exposed them or bring them to justice) to cover up crimes is vital context.
It's also a good reminder of the bad old days of the corrupt “No One Left To Lie To” Clinton era Presidency that everyone, even the Democrats, were glad to see come to an end.

Good luck with that. At most 10% of the people voting will read those tweets. The other 90% get there info from the MSM. What matters is the Media/Clinton campaign narrative. And Trump is feeding it needlessly.
Not sure what your qualifications are to make those assumptions. I’ve watched just about every one of his rallies and see the same, if not more energy.
He still has plenty of time to botch this election, and he very well may do it. Up against the easiest candidate to beat, and he’s tweeting about some porn star. Is this presidential? I think not.

Trump is fine. He’s winning. He will continue winning up to & including the final vote totals on Nov 8th. Trump is “crashing” the system quite nicely. Look at USAToday’s recent declarations if you have any doubts.

Trump is winning BECAUSE he stands & fights against those who lie about him. He’s not going to change & I for one, don’t wish him to. He’s going to be our next President. Attack the media.
This worked for Newt Gingrich so well in 2008 it needs to be repeated in the debates. It can't be over used or it will get state, but the next two debates are perfect and the media has teed up the unfairness issue perfectly for Trump to hit all the way to the green.
Hillary has weird "play the victim little girl" juju that makes it risky to attack her directly. The only thing the people hate more than politicians is the media and there is no downside for attacking the media when it carries Hillary water for her - which is all the time.

I say let Trump tweet. Let him do everything he did to win the nomination and the hearts of Americans across the nation. Let him continue the pathway that draws multiple thousands of supporters to all his rallies in every state. Let him be himself and he will prevail.

Yep. Some posters are not even paying attention to the substance of his tweet. Trump asked if the Clintons helped her get citizenship to use her in the debate. She became a citizen in August. (Note that in her response, Hillary did not answer his question) #FOLLOWTHEMONEY
