Do you know what the real purpose of NBC's Saturday Night Live is? If you thought comedy, you would be wrong according to Politico. No, the main purpose of SNL is to act in a completely partisan manner in order to TAKE DOWN TRUMP. Got that?
As Politico on Thursday makes clear, Saturday Night Live will be going after Donald Trump leading into the election starting with this weekend's episode. To make sure of this, politically unhinged Alec Baldwin will be portraying Trump. Perhaps Darrell Hammond is not partisan enough and plays it for that old fashioned thing called laughs. Politico takes us down the road of flat out partisanship in Will 'Saturday Night Live' take down Trump?

That show died several decades ago.
Not many people watch this dismal show anymore. Can’t get past unfunny.
Is this show still on?
I can’t believe SNL would have any impact at all.
i haven’t watched that junk in years
Quit watching that show decades ago.
They weaponized SNL against Sarah Palin in 2008. Of course they will use it against him.
It will play well with beat up Trump supporters crowd.
I wish SCTV would come back.
It is quite possible that this strategy is going to backfire BIGTIME. The normal people are stoked with anger and the more the MSM/”entertainment” industry aims for Trump the more voters are going to be disgusted enough to vote for him, just to stick it to the liberal celebs.
Only in the mind of a liberal.
I don’t see the full court press onslaught harming him all that much. It’s not really helping to boost Hillary! either, that I can see.
They sure are exposing themselves as the anti-American traitors that they are though; THAT’S for sure.
Nobody watches anymore.
I doubt many people under 50 watch SNL.
SNL and Tina Fey Finished off Sarah Palin—But Trump is another media savvy guy.
Sure worked during the primaries.
Could you have imagined if it had been Trump that had to be carried and heaved into van at the 9/11 memorial? It would have been joked about on every late night show like Gerald Ford tripping and Bush Sr. throwing up was. Saturday Night Live would be ending every Trump skit with him collapsing into the arms of somebody and being hauled into a van. I may be mistaken, but I don’t think one late night show joked about Hillary’s incident and I really doubt Saturday Night Live with make a skit about it.
1970s produced episodes of “The Electric Company” are both more entertaining and educational than the SNL of today (and that’s with even Morgan Freeman in them, lol).
They’ll run it later on the Today show and nightly news, pretending it’s “entertainment news” instead of political propaganda.
