Also, help yourself to the Cheeseburger/Fries and Milk Duds 'buffet' and non-alcoholic drinks which Mark's graciously provided. And don't feed Barney any of that stuff!

Levin has been very solid recently, as long as he stays away from Ted Cruz.

It amazes me that a man with such understanding and passion for the Constitution can’t see Cruz is not eligible to be president

I think that instead of lecturing every night about the Constitution and how principled he is, he should be focused on electing Trump. If Hillary is elected, the Constitution will not mean anything.

If Clinton does win, ‘real’ conservatism will be dead. Liberalism will rule the next half-century or longer. The only way an anti-liberal would ever win the presidency would be after the liberals succeed in bankrupting the nation and driving it into a Venezuela-type disaster.

She has seen how Obama has used Executive Orders to circumvent the Constitution. Gone, soon, would be Article 1, 2, 3, 4, etc., and she would have a liberal Supreme Court to cement her actions to nullify the Bill of Rights. She has made it clear she intends to end the 2nd Amendment and restrict/strangle the rights in the 1st Amendment.

Of course, ‘real’ conservatism is only a ideal and the fodder of books and talkshows. Not even Ronald Reagan would pass the conservatism litmus test the Levin-types try to hold politicians to.

There have been too many variations that watered the ideal down, just like they did with the Tea Party ideal.

I don’t think he really cares if Trump wins. He has a new book coming out and it would be better for him if Trump doesn’t win. Don’t get mad at me. I am just saying what he sounds like on his own show.
