Glad you’re home safe and sound. That was a long haul but it sounds like everyone had a great time. It’s nice that the weather cooperated well too.
Jool’s problem just cropped up and I realized last night that a vet visit was in order. Her appetite dropped and her gut’s a bit bloated. Looks like she’s got inflammatory bowel problems. Churchill and Darla are already on meds for it so Jool will start taking them too. Today she got a steroid shot to work on the inflammation quickly. She ate more this evening than she has the past couple of days so her gut must be feeling a little better already.
You could be right. :-)
Oh, I hope poor kitteh continues to improve and return to her usual healthy self! I just hate it when my little varmints are not feeling well!
I think they were glad to see me...but they kept asking me why I was gone so long. LOL!
Are you letting you kittehs stay inside for a while tonight? You know they missed you and are thrilled to have you back home.
It’ll take Jool a few days to get back up to snuff IF IBD is the problem, and the vet is pretty sure it is. We’ve had a few others with it so I kinda figured that was Jool’s problem too.
She’ll be on the meds for life but since I’ve been dosing others for it for quite a while now, what’s one more? The meds help a lot, plus I give them some plain yogurt each day. They love it and they need that good bacteria.

I probably would have, but they wanted out so there they are. They’ll be in first thing in the morning, telling me about their evening. :)
I hope your Jool gets better soon...or at least hope it’s manageable and doesn’t cause her any more discomfort!

Well, I guess you’re forgiven already if they wanted to be outside. :-) Be ready to give them extra luvvin’ tomorrow morning though. LOL
If it’s IBD, as the vet thinks, Jool will be fine pretty quickly. The meds this vet prescribes have worked wonders with the others. I just hope it isn’t something else but we’ll know pretty quickly if it is. The meds won’t work.
One day at a time. I’m taking her uptick in appetite already as a good sign.

yeah man... right now would be great except I am working front desk/night audit at hotel til 9 AM and they rather frown on drinking at or just before work. :-(

Another margarita comment. I LIKE the flavored ones but ONLY if made fresh with real fruit. The ones you commonly get at bars and in the pre-mixed bottles have very little if any fruit. Mostly chemicals and artificial coloring. Puree up some fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches etc.. your choice & freeze them in ice cube trays.Put in plastic bag and when you make up your margarita either fresh or with mix just put in one of the cubes.
Cats can be quite entertaining, no doubt. With 35 of ‘em, there are multiple cases of stupidity daily. LOL
Moogly has a thing for Kleenex boxes and always gets her head stuck. The real fun is watching the others crowd around her until she gets her head out.
I’ll let y’all enjoy your fruit-flavored margaritas and just slurp on a Coke instead. Hey, someone’s gotta be the designated driver. :-)
