Viewers tuning in for the rowdy first presidential debate got their fair share of verbal sparring, but amidst the fireworks many appeared distracted by something else: Donald Trump's sniffle.
The Republican candidate sniffled repeatedly during Monday night's debate — setting off social-media memes and sparking the hashtag #TrumpSniffle.
While Trump's opponent Hillary Clinton — whose coughs made frequent fodder for Republicans — did not mention his sniffles, former Democratic presidential candidate and DNC chairman Howard Dean did.
The former six-term Vermont governor took to Twitter not with a meme but with a message, suggesting that Trump's nasal troubles could be due to cocaine use.
There was no immediate response from the Trump campaign to the question Dean posed.
However, Trump told Fox News on Tuesday that there were "no sniffles" and that he didn't have a cold.
OTOH, I believe an offspring of his was the getaway driver for an attempted break-in to the booze storage for a country club.
Trump NEEDS to sue Howard Dean ASAP!!!! Those of us who watch Trump consistently KNOW this is Trump’s pattern of speech!!!!

When Trump speaks, and he needs to draw a new breath, he takes in that breath through his nose. Most people don’t, but he does. That’s what they heard.

Reminded me when Obama did an interview early on in his first term. He was laughing and the question was about the financial meltdown and Steve Croft was taken aback by Obamas cavalier attitude and Kroft asked Obama if he was “Punch drunK.
