I think Led Zeppelin ripped this off and used it for the intro to “The Immigrant Song”

I give it an 80, Dick. It’s got a good beat and you can dance to it.

The first rock music.
The guy that wrote it was probably stoned.

i wonder if the first music was created for the church.
I have no talent at all, but some music touches my soul

I ran into this on the side-bar when following your links.
I think it is worth review.
When I watched it, it made me think of the sea of people who will praise God in heaven.
It sticks in my mind that it was once said that a song is like a prayer before God. This video causes me to understand how it could be. The joy of life presented in this manner must be a beautiful sound to the God that must witness all that happens on this earth.
Man’s inhumanity to man is legendary. Yet here we see a Japanese group sing a German song, that the world can marvel at.
I offer up this: A 10,000 strong choir, something to listen to and marvel at as you do.

Interesting. Written and maintained in C (I think) throughout, it displays a good knowledge of harmony and even early counterpoint.
Thanks so much for posting.

You can hear how it picks up at the end, it goes into Playing in the Band followed by Good Loving. Same set they did at Englishtown.
