I believe that the criticism Matt Lauer faced after the “forum” was more meant to be a warning to future moderators (how they will be trashed and outcast by all of the important MSM) than an honest assessment of Lauer’s performance.

Is there anyone in the MSM with the courage to test that? Does Holt have the integrity to test that? OTOH, he is an EMPLOYEE, and probably has received his orders from NBC. Remember what happened to Brian Williams?

I’ve gotten so sick of the hype over this debate, I’ve decided to spend this evening continuing reading “Deadly Sky: The American Combat Airman in WWII” by John C. McManus. It covers the training and experiences of enlisted/NCOs and company/field grade officers who manned and flew Army Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps aircraft in all the theaters. No grand strategy or what the generals did, just focus’s on what it was like to fly day to day and life in between missions.

I watched Ollie North’s “War Stories” episode about American flyers in the RAF last night.

Truly honor bound men.

I didn’t realize that neither side would give them vets benefits after the war.

Hillary will tell us the eating habits of goat herders in the Afghan mountains. And a touching story of a young goat herder named David and how he slew an American giant.

I have been DVRing the war stories episodes for some time now, trying to get a collection of all of them. I should just look for them on Amazon.

In my opinion, the best show that’s ever been on Fox News. Bar none.

The first year of it was released as a book with a DVD of all the shows. I was given it as a Christmas or Birthday present several years ago. I still have a VCR but have not recorded it. I’ve a DVD player but no recorder; and don’t know if I’ll ever get one. Not much on tv that I want to record or even watch.

I’ll listen to Brian and Larry on WMAL as I drive to work in the morning and get their take on it. Of course, they are the only conservative DC drive local show here in DC. :)
