THE EDITOR, Sir:
Aren't you just tired of all our government leaders making all these promises that they will 'make Jamaica great again', but has never made good on it?
I have lived long enough to see more than seven elections, and Lord knows I have had it with all the promises of a paradisiac condition, a crime-free country, great health-care facilities, excellent schools with affordable, if not free, education. Equality for all. No corruption. Transparency in government and state businesses.
When will I see any radical changes?
Since Jamaica always emulates other First World countries, like the United States, now is the time for a prime minister to be like Donald Trump. I need someone who is business-oriented. I need to see someone walk the walk and not just talk the talk.
I am not in agreement with everything Trump promises, but his fearlessness and confidence make me feel that something new is about to happen. I need something fresh. I need someone who will build a wall.
Are you ready, Jamaica, for a Trump?
LAURENE WARD
Tourism Major @ UWI.
Laurene, preach it! Jamaica will be slow to embrace change, but they need it.
LET’S GET OUR OWN ELECTED FIRST!!!
There are so many non whites who like this guy but can’t say it without losing their living or their business, maybe even their lives!!
I dont blame them. I tweet BLM and call them terrorists and my twitter name is my real name. But we all know i’m about 10 cards short of a deck. Incidentally, they are the nastiest ####s i’ve ever met and use tons of profanity mixed in with not so hidden threats in their replies. Their mouths should be washed out with soap, the guys AND girls!)
And my office is SO Conservative i’d get a raise if they knew (Staten Island Italians)
Rappers, athletes, reality stars, actors, one or another has come out for Trump only to get ROCKED and then back down.
Not an easy decision to make about your income when you have kids and stuff.
And another thing!! :)
If you charged by the word to be on this site, I would have been bankrupt long ago!! :)
I post here so much you could put me down as a dependent :)
THIS IS A ‘LETTER TO THE EDITOR’ from a poor, innocent, naive’ soul. Jamaica’s so-called government is completely corrupt. Its people are kept poor and wanting by design. Lost cause without a revolution to throw-out and imprison the Leftists or a return to a British dependency.
Jamaican me crazy.
Yeah, I can’t really comment a lot on their government and history because i dont know enough, but I would ASSUME they are too far gone to elect a good president (do they have fair elections) and all will be well.
I think this is the last time WE have a chance to elect a great president and all could be well.
Trump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait for debate!!!! Sure FR will get overloaded!!!!
lol
And not to go off topic, but why does GOOGLE have voter registration on their home page??
When did they become an arm of the government?
Google being an arm of the Democraps ? Anything to help the Butcheress of Benghazi to steal the election.
What’s up bro? :)
yeah, I didn’t know any old site could just start registering folk. geez.
says you need license or state ID but i bet ther’s a way around it at the site
Not a citizen ? No problem ! I expect this to be the most corrupt election in American history.
I’ll second that.
This is, Trump and Rudy ain’t mccain and romney.
exit polls show they won handily, there’ll be no congratulations call from Trump, possibly a civil war.
A lot of Americans have fond memories of Jamaica and wish them well.
Facebook is pushing voter registration too. That’s the bipartisan push that comes every election cycle.
oh ok. Thanks. I saw the you needed ID so it wouldn’t help fraudsters
can’t imagine someone needing google to tell them to register but it is what it is :)
Amen to THIS, Brother!!
