The anxiety is palatable. The question will not be made audible, but it remains: is she losing this election? Is it really slipping away? To put it in the words of Hillary Clinton: "Why am I not winning by 50 points?"
1. Epistemological poisoning. The depth of public outrage has been the consistent misunderstanding of all pundits trying to explain the current election. Why is the public so mad? Why do people seem to love Trump so much? Those charged with telling us the truth journalists, the federal government, politicians, academia, Hollywood, and the Church do not. The epistemological organs of our nation favor an illiberal anti-American view of the world, epitomized by the Jonathan Grubers and condescending Hollywood stars, that mocks the average American.
Sadly, even the Republican Party thinks this way about the average American, and for that, the public burned down the RNC. While Democrats laughed, they never thought the populist fires could touch their perfect candidate. That was the boundless hubris of a reactionary community emboldened by the echo chamber of leftist politics emanating from American institutions taken over by Jacobins.
Americans were tired of drinking the poison, so they shattered the epistemological world painfully constructed by the left. This is not Plato's Blue Republic; it's a democracy where people can show up and vote.

Repeating the meme:
Hillary is weak!
Trump's "lies"? If you are going to call Trump a liar, then you at least need to indicate what statements of Trump's you are referring to, Professor Voth.
If she does I will be happier you than buster Douglas after he whooped mike Tyson a$$
If that’s the case,America is finished,Hillary will win, because the country has become a cesspool
Corrupt Hillary is a lying, sick old crook who accepts bribes and betrays our country. Everything in that sentence is well documented. She lies even when the truth would serve her better. Everything she says or does must be treated with the utmost suspicion.
I am praying every day that she loses this election.
If she doesn’t, we lose our country.
What a great sentence!
At first I thought the author meant to write “The anxiety is palpable”, but then I realized that the Dim’s anxieties are, indeed, quite palatable!
Every article about the election I read includes the rat talking point: Trump lies.
The asshats on Sirius Left say she’s a lock. There is simply no.electoral path to a Trump victory.
I see what you mean, and I agree the writer failed to use quotation marks around the word “lies”.
Vos was speaking in terms of Clinton-level lies versus Trump “lies”. For example, who cares if TRUMP saw really and literally “thousands” of Arabs dancing in the streets of New York City after 911.
Compare his exaggerated quantifying terms with that of evil Hillary’s pay-to-play lying and cover up and her wicked ommissions of truth and facts ... every.time.she.opens.her.mouth.
Ambassador Stevens has no comment.
I dunno know if he forgot to put quotation marks or if he was virtue signaling.
It’s frustating that a lot of these conservative ‘intellectuals’ seem to be incapable of criticizing Hillary without getting in a cheap shot or two on Trump below the belt.
The reactor shaft beckons.
“Those charged with telling us the truth ... and the Church do not.”
I cannot sufficiently underscore this.
The church - that organ explicitly devoted to eternal truth - balks at temporal truth.
The pastors (seemingly) sold their autonomy for a subsidy from Caesar decades ago - via the 1954 Johnson Amendment - and have been largely mum ever since about Caesar’s... indiscretions (unless, of course, it is said by a black pastor of a Democratic congregation: communistic political correctness gives them a pass).
Actually, this is a lot like most of the gun laws: they are unConstitutional. Lyndon Johnson (a truly evil man) wanted federal corruption to go unremarked by (relatively) holy men, but a mere regulation cannot supersede the Bill of Rights. He knew that; he was counting on the cupidity and timidity of the so-called reverends in playing along... and they have done so.
Donald Trump has spoken of having that amendment revoked. regardless, the pastors have to speak up... or they should resign.
I have been in ministry. I have paid a high price for standing up to the hypocrisy and complacency in the pulpit, so, yeah, I am entitled to say this. I practice what I preach.
It is precisely because of the compromised pulpits of America that I chose not to attend seminary years ago: I did not want to perpetuate that system. I chose instead to be independent, and, like Paul, to be self employed, and not to take money for my preaching and teaching.
The Bible does not say: Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s, as long as you can get an exemption from Caesar before doing so.
(By the bye, I did eventually become “ordained” - not because I place a high degree of value in such human assessments, but because I see the true church becoming more and more an underground entity, and I recognize that many well-meaning persons require such a title before they will trust a spiritual leader.)
**Is Hillary Clinton Losing the 2016 Election?**
