Hillary Clinton is going to be armed with facts, logic and policy chops at tomorrow nights debate.
Itll be like bringing a knife to a gunfight.
Unless Donald Trump has been hitting the briefing books and spending his evenings perusing back issues of National Affairs and The Economist hey, the man has surprised us before! it seems unlikely that he will have as many facts and details at his command as Clinton. And it doesnt matter. Nobody comes out of a debate saying, Wow, Senator Blutarsky had an impressively detailed answer on how to save 11 percent at the Department of Housing and Urban Development!
Debates are about style, comportment, authority, the occasional zinger and the dreaded gaffe.

Recall that Obama proudly said he got his news and information, not from presidential briefings, but from CNN.
His debate words and actions must reinforce and spotlight those consequences.
Clinton has no defense with which to counter such facts.
"Progressive" "solutions" always rely on more coercive government control over individuals, more "redistribution" of their hard-earned wages by politicians and bureaucrats, much of which is syphoned off by those same politicians; and Hillary Clinton is the prime example of that syphoning.
How else could she amass such a fortune?
Trump is going to win on the simple fact that Hillary comes across as an angry effin b*tch when she talks and Trump comes across as more human. But even with that, I think he is going to drop a bombshell on her tomorrow night that is going to make history, it’s going to expose her like an atomic bomb for the criminal lying treasonous witch she is. She very well may faint on that stage.
Hillary Clinton is going to be armed with her version of the facts, leftist logic and claims that her policy failures were all successes.
If Mark Cuban shows up - a camera needs to be focused on him...
ANY president should show a basic understanding at a high level and defer to experts for details. The worst things many of the candidate in the primaries said were like “I know how to fix health care” or “I know how to defeat ISIS” or “I know how to reduce crime” ... If true, those people should be on the team to fix that one issue they claim to understand better than anyone else in the country. They should not be running the solutions to every problem and micromanaging all those people who don’t know as much as them on their area of expertise.
They should know
* the problems/issues
* the people who need to come together to solve them
* how to get people to work together and implement solutions
Trump’s strengths for decades have been
* Setting goals
* Selecting (and firing) the right people
* Enabling people to achieve his goals including groups who often disagree with each other (e.g. union, non-union, government)
Hillary’s strength has been
* Being a woman
* Being “the smartest women in the world”
Hillary will once again accomplish nothing no matter how many “facts” she knows because being smarter than everyone under you hurts rather than helps unless you have just the right personality and management style - which she has shown to not have over and over.
If you don’t like Trump’s goals, he’s the wrong person to vote for. If you like his goals, he is exactly the person to vote for no matter how deep or shallow his personal knowledge or experience in the details. I wish there was more messaging about that aspect of Trump’s experience.
Even if you don’t like his goals you should still vote for Trump because he is the only one who has ever managed anything successfully.
Moderator: "First question to Madame Secretary... who is the under-secretary of education in Nambia??"
Hillary: "That would be Mamamba Berungbiila... a wonderful woman full of achievement. I worked with her for many decades elevating the rights of woman in Africa"
Moderator: "That is very impressive Madame, we understand that billions of women around the world live better lives because of your hard work. Next question to Trump: How does being a reality TV personality prepare you for saving women in Africa, especially given your long history of hating and abusing women?"
Obamacare doesn't work.
This is an important lesson I learned from a Senator when was on a radio talk show back in the 90's. I was trying to sound knowledgeable and proficient in my subject matter - privacy concerns in the initial age. The senator just spoke in laymen's terms and from his heart. Well guess who was the more interesting fellow to listen to on playback? I learned a good lesson that day which has stayed with me. I think Trump knows this and will use it to his advantage.
No one can accuse you of having low expectations.
I’ve seen Leftists facts and logic, especially lately, NONE of it is reality based.
Clinton has a long history of responding with anger to any criticism. Trump needs to keep her on the defensive, and do his best to get her to go ballistic in front of 100 MILLION viewers.
Who cares if Mark Cuban shows up? HAs zero and this week proved it with viewership down 45% on Shark Tank. He has negative influence.
Trump only has to do one thing to win:
HAMMER AWAY AT HER FAILURES. And never let up on her.
I will not be surprised to hear some version of this slant at the debate. They just can’t play it straight.
That'll be a first. :)
