The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.
Yes but we’re those friends expecting to see Trump as,a politician or human being? Luntz has him winning Independents and most online polls have him winning, one has him tied.
You people have to stop thinking about what YOU want Trump to do and start thinking of this in context of an election that involved 10s of millions of voters who do not share your “give us raw meat ripped from Hillary’s hide” mindset.
The momentum is all on Trump’s side. Hillary needed a spectacular knock down and missed every punch despite Holt’s best efforts to prop her up.

I just saw the Time poll and he was down 51 - 49, not a bad showing for that lefty trash rag.
If DT left kill shots on the table, here’s my two cents on why he did:
1. He knows he’s winning and didn’t need to go completely nuclear.
2. He used this first debate to “feel out” things.
He was solid, if unspectacular. She was shrill and tired.
Bottom line: He went into this debate winning this election, he came out of it winning this election.
Hillary has had her lifetime to be "prepared" for debates....she could have done far better had she done more than memorize and practice the 'same old scripted rehearsed answers' she consistently gives like a wired robot....but that is ALL she is ...a wired speaker reading from script.....Apart from this she is nothing more than a woman seeking International adulation she believes she is deserving of and covets greatly.
Trump spoke of solutions. But he enunciated real problems that "those out there in TV Land" deal with on a day-to-day basis, not carefully focus-grouped phrases among a bunch of autofellatory pajama-boys on college campuses and 40-year-old crazy cat ladies.

I loved Trump’s attacks on her, but I think it was back and forth a tie. Let it sink in with the public. For instance, Hillary ran off but Trump have interviews. Not a good optic for her.

I watched the networks. Trump was on stage, joined by his family. Hillary bent over the front of the stage shaking hands with her large group of audience members. TV coverage focused on her and Bill, who was shaking hands down the row.
My mother who is not political made 2 comments. Hillary’s attitude was ugly and the moderator was obviously pro Hillary.
I did not like how holt interrupted Trump and quizzed him on personal questions independent of the forum questions. He did not quiz Hillary on personal situations.
I watched Reagan’s debates and cringed, thinking that they would hurt him. They didn’t.
Willard Romney knocked Obama in debate #1, then blew the next two. Trump just needs to up his game each time and keep on the road. Hillary will not be able to keep up.
This "debate" was an utter mess and Trump; didn't help himself any. :-(
We're all going to vote that he won, which he didn't, but he'll believe that he did and THAT is NOT at all helpful to him.

Hillary couldn’t destroy him.
