Damn right. Cruz supporters are no different from Hillary supporters.

I think it's great. I know all the #ihatetedcruz folk will piss and moan regardless. As I said on a similar thread last night, Trump is going to be gracious about it, and let bygones be bygones. Personally, I think Cruz should have endorsed him unreservedly at the convention, but that's under the bridge now. I doubt they'll ever be close friends, but will they work together? You bet. Trump is no fool, and he knows the GOPe is going to give him a harder time with congress than they gave Obama, so any ally is a good thing.
I'm sure most of y'all saw Trump's response to former President Bush, saying he'll vote Clinton. He was quite gracious and recognized the difficulties inherent in a hard-fought campaign. Some folks are going to have hard feelings, and he's apparently cool with that. I think the rest of us should be as well.
I don't see Cruz's endorsement as being a major plus at this point, (it would have been more effective at the convention), but every little bit helps.

I don’t want to have the same thing. I like it, but I lean more toward coming up with something else inspired by it.
I’ve seen this one around over the years, and I have really liked the message it conveys in a timely setting.
Thanks for posting it.

Trump should put Juanita Brodderick and Kathleen Willey on the front row and the mothers of the Benghazi murdered. Awesome idea

Trump should of course accept the support from Cruz.
Politely, respectfully and graciously. With genuine sincerity.
Cruz deserves credit where credit is due.

Oh, my, what happened to his conscience? Money must be drying up. I simply cannot wait to read the ‘I see the light’ from his supporters. By the way Ted Cruz, no matter what you do, your parents FAILED to bequeath to you ‘natural born’ US citizenship. Course, being Harvard Law Schooled trained you have known this all along.

I really don't want to hear anything from Ted Cruz.
I don't believe him when he denied the affairs.
The evidence, however, is compelling that he is an adulterer and a liar.
Amanda Carpenter posed at the DC Hilton hotel, on a bed, with condoms next to her, and uploaded it to her Istagram account. Multiple media reports that this was the hotel where she was spotted for trysts with Cruz. When confronted with the photo during the midst of the scandal, she claimed it was "photo shopped." She photo shopped her own photo on Instagram?
No, that didn't happen. That means Amanda Carpenter was caught lying.
Why would she lie like that? There is only one answer. To protect Cruz.

Not yet. I can’t really blame him either but he should have just stayed quiet.

Oh. Thanks for the info. Do you mean The Briefing Room? People get to using acronyms and I don’t know what they all mean. For all I know BR forum meant “Butt Rangers”.

...Meanwhile Trump's speech, helped perhaps by some magic of the Deplorables, was having just the effect he intended.
A good many who had been anxious enough to get out of the Trumpslide felt quite differently about being left out of it. And of course whenever any one #NeverTrumper announced that he had made up his mind to ask for permission to vote for The Donald, the ones who hadn't said this felt that they were getting fewer and more uncomfortable.
So that before the debates with Hillary had begun several people were positively "sucking up" to the Alt-Right and Reince (at least that what what they called it in my state) to get a good report. And soon there were only three left who didn't want to vote Trump, and those three were trying very hard to persuade others to vote with them. And very shortly after that there was only one left. And in the end he began to be afraid of being left behind all on his own and changed his mind.
