Mika Brzezinski used an unfortunate metaphor on todays Morning Joe to describe Hillary and Trumps different approaches to preparing for Mondays first presidential debate. Said Mika: you think of like the two law students preparing for the bar. The guy is polishing his car to calm down. And the girl is studying up to the last minute.
Mika is apparently unaware that Hillary flunked the DC bar exam after graduating from Yale law school in 1973. 67% of the people taking the exam at the same time passed, putting Hillary in the bottom third. Maybe instead of studying, she was too busy . . . polishing Bills car.

Mika is just so stupid.
But, part of it may be that she is usually operating on some seriously potent "prescription" medication.
You mean Mrs. Bill may not be “the smartest woman in the world”? Please don’t tell the American people. They couldn’t take the shock of knowing the truth.
many first-rate lawyers, even Yale Law graduates, had flunked the bar on their first tryI wonder how they know this.

I thought one might look at July 2007 bar passage rates by school for the single largest state. As it turns out, across all non-California law schools with at least 15 applicants, Yale had the highest bar passage rate (94.1 percent). California bar exam takers from the University of Chicago and Harvard did quite well, but their passage rates of 86 and 87 percent were clearly lower than that of Yale students. Yale law graduates are looking better all the time!So this is for the California Bar, not the DC Bar. I'm guessing based on the 94.1% that 17 took it and one failed. It doesn't really prove anything but it's interesting nonetheless.
Isn’t the WDC bar exam known as an easy one to pass because of several factors including all the affirmative-action types who take it?
Congressman Hank (Guam is gonna tip over) Johnson, passed a bar exam somewhere.
The Obamas' law licenses may not have been revoked. More likely they gave them up because they weren't actually practicing law and didn't want to pay the fees or take the courses necessary to keep their licenses valid.
We don't know how many times Barack Obama took the bar exam or what his bar exam scores were, but somebody's done a little math with the available data and calculated that his LSAT scores weren't great.
