A combined 69 percent of American voters say they have concerns about Donald Trump's comments and language on women, immigrants and Muslims, including more than half who have "major" concerns, according to a new national NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

That's compared with a combined 64 percent of voters who say they have concerns about Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state.

I just left my hairdresser’s. I made the mistake of bringing up politics and she said that she could not find one good thing on the internet about Donald Trump but that there’s millions of good things about Hillary. I didn’t even bother to explain to her who owned Google and where they contributed but I’m very disappointed in her. She thinks he’s going to fly off at the mouth and cause all kinds of Wars which is what they are hearing from the Democrats. It’s just unbelievable!

I am generally much, much more concerned with actions than words.

Its the old “sticks and stones will break my bones, but names will never hurt me” meme that we all learned from our parents (well, at least most of us did, Special Snowflakes of the present generation excluded, of course).

So, “Trump is mean!” doesn’t really phase me one way or another. Frankly, the fact that he has the courage to say what’s on his mind is REFRESHING for not only the courage displayed in this warped PC Bizarro World that we live in, but for his sheer honesty. But words are, after all, just words.

However, Hillary Clinton has a record of ACTIONS - actions including breaking the law to hide things (that’s what the whole email thing is about), breaking the law to obstruct the efforts of our law enforcement and judicial system to find out the truth about said emails, a pay-to-play scheme that makes Boss Tweed, Warren Harding’s administration, the Kennedys and Richard Nixon look like choir boys in comparison. Not to mention (well, OK, I’m mentioning it) the trail of bodies that has followed the Clintons for the last 40 or so years.

Those actions carry a lot more weight with me than Trump’s words.

But let’s look at the other side of the coin for both of them - Clinton’s words and Trump’s actions (that’s fair, after all, consider all sides of all of the actors involved). Clinton’s record is one of such pervasive lying that virtually everyone in society except the most naive or the most sheltered (willfully or otherwise) know that the mere movement of her lips indicates a lie just told, or a lie forthcoming. Trump, OTOH, has a roughly 45-year record of accomplishment in his previously chosen fields of endeavor, chiefly real estate development/rentals and entertainment. He has created tens of thousands of jobs (i.e. he has signed the front of the check, unlike Hillary and most politicians who only sign the back) and amassed billions of net worth, and therefore knows what it takes to create jobs and run successful businesses. Of those tens of thousands of employees (likely over 100,000 when you count former employees who have died, retired or moved on for one of a variety of reasons), I’ve heard of no complaints about Trump as a boss - quite to the contrary, the media over the years (and WAY before he seriously entertained becoming a politician) was full of stories of his generosity and fairness. The fact that his company has many women, Jews and other minorities in positions of authority (with pay and benefits to match), shows that he’s interested only in WHAT a person can do, not WHO they are based on birth or DNA.

So it seems pretty evident to me that Hillary Clinton verbally is a liar (as well as someone who has utter contempt for most ordinary people - “deplorables” to her), and in actions is more corrupt than any nationally-known politician that we’ve ever had the displeasure of watching. Trump, OTOH, while verbally unfiltered (at least until the last few weeks) - which can be viewed as being both courageous and honest, has actually DONE great things while creating tens of thousands or more jobs and treating those employees well.

On this basis, there’s no choice at all - Trump wins by so big of a margin that it is almost impossible to calculate. Add to that his obvious love for this country and Clinton’s disdain for this country’s military, its borders, its secrets and a large portion of its people, and this election SHOULD be a landslide (well, except that we’re living in the Bizarro World).

Vote Trump/Pence like your country depends upon it - because it DOES!

Amen to that - it is sickening how much the media, and the average uninformed voter - give a damn about his words (which display courage and honesty), rather than the disaster that Obama and Clinton have and will make of this country.

Everyone else likes Trump’s statements just fine.

This election is all about dragging people who don’t want to vote to the polls. Hopefully more Trump voters are dragged than Clinton supporters but there are going to be a lot of people that just sit this one out and the early voting numbers in Iowa illustrate that fact.

Any conservative who doesn’t actually cast a vote for Trump, is helping Hillary become president.

Unintended consequences, and all that. In elections only the bottom line counts: the number of votes, NOT any good-sounding reasons.

Our bottom-line choice is Trump or Hillary.

. . . concerns about Donald Trump's comments and language on women, immigrants and Muslims, including more than half who have "major" concerns, according to a new national NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll. That's compared with a combined. . . 64 percent of voters who say they have concerns about Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state.

The proper comparison is between Trump's many blunt/rude comments and Hillary's many corrupt/criminal scandals, not between all of Trump's comments and one of Hillary's crimes. But the guys who wrote this poll knew that.

No they don't...They have concerns about what the major news media's portrayal of Don Trump...If they really knew what Trump was saying, in totality, most would support him...
