Tim Kaine here for fundraiser co-hosted by staunch Republican Meg Whitman (staunch?)

Tim Kaine is swinging by the Bay Area's political ATM on Wednesday.

Hillary Clinton's running mate will be attending two fundraisers in Atherton and another in San Francisco.

Kaine will be scooping up cash during a roundtable at the home of Steve Spinner, an angel investor and top fundraiser in President Barack Obama's 2008 and 2012 campaigns, and his wife, Allison.

In the afternoon, he'll be lunching at the home of former GOP supporter and Silicon Valley philanthropist Jillian Manus.

Former GOP gubernatorial candidate and Hewlett-Packard CEO Meg Whitman will be co-hosting the event. Over the summer, the high-profile Republican announced that she's voting for Clinton explaining that Donald Trump's campaign had "exploited anger, grievance, xenophobia and racial division." Whitman also vowed to donate to and fundraise for Clinton's campaign.

Whitman is no more a loyal Republican, or a Republican, than is Lyn’ Ted. She should be asked to drop the “Republican” association. Why hasn’t she, Lyn’ Ted, and others been booted?

The NeverTrumpers are failing to realize that the ground is collapsing underneath them. Win or lose they are done. Trump wins and they are cast out of the party and amount to no more than moderate democrats. Trump loses and they are no more than useful idiots who sabotaged the nominee they pledged to support and will end up with the same stellar political careers as Nels Rockefellor and George Romney.

We must remember that the press is always going to claim any Republican as staunch, especially if they do not support the Republican candidate.

Meg Whitman recently spoke at a seminar for my wife’s employer.

She trashed Trump throughout the session.

Meg Whitman is a “Republican” of the Michael Bloomberg variety. That is to say a wealthy pro-business democrat who isn't quite anti-capitalist enough to get anywhere in politics as a democrat in a dark blue state so they switch to Republican out of necessity.

Meg Whitman is a moonbat liberal.

She was paid over one billion in eBay stock (over a period of time) when they brought her in from Hasbro to be the CEO of eBay.

As a long-time eBay seller, she drove sellers nuts when she implemented endless non-sensical changes to eBay over the years, changes that cost eBay hundreds of millions of dollars when they were ultimately abandoned.

McCain wanted this loon to be his Treasury Secretary if he had won the 2008 election.

It is thoughtful for the weasels to come out before the risk of them getting positions in the Trump administration.

Meg Whitman is not a Republican. Since when is a Republican fundraising for Dems? Yes, for a while Whitman did pretend to be a Republican when she thought it was to her benefit. But when her assistance is needed, she is showing her true colors.
