Hes still lagging behind the Democrats. Donald Trump has broken plenty of rules throughout his campaign, but he has also broken records.
According to Politicos reporting, which includes an analysis of Federal Election Commission filings, the Trump campaign has possibly already raised $100 million from donors who have given less than $200more than any other GOP nominee in history. Moreover, the campaign has only been actively soliciting donations for less than three months: Trump signed his first email solicitation for donors on June 21.

Excellent!
It’s a small investment for major return.
The only rules he's broken are the rules of political correctness. THAT is why he is breaking records.
KEEP BREAKING THOSE RULES MR. TRUMP!!!
I am proud to say I am one of Trumps small donors.
Not the common politician
Is there really a monster lurking out there?
Whose rules, pray tell?
The article notes that Hillary is ahead of Trump in small donations.
Someone from Wells Fargo needs to call Fortune and tell them the reason she’s doing so well with small donations. Hint: People give her their card number, authorize, say, a $25 donation, and then she hits it up three or four more times until she hits $99 or so.
Voila! Five small donations instead of one. The fact that four are fraudulent will never make it into the MSM, but it should.
I’m starting to think so. Until recently, I was skeptical of this “hidden monster” because I heard the same thing in 2012. But this is different.
How can this be? The dims have been insisting they are the party of the little guy for decades.
I’ll take “Why the Establishment UniParty Hates the Grass Roots for $600, Alex.”
Yup!
Only the elite amnesty pimps love him( 1%ers).
Its time for the rally in Madison Square Garden/Yankee's stadium its time to go for New York.
The big apple is now ripe for the picking.
Its a small investment for major return.
Donated 30$ after I got a “you’re deplorable” email from Trump campaign.
Hilarious.
For the first time in my life, I registered as a Republican, rather than independent, in order to be able to vote for Trump in our primary.
For the first time in my life, I donated to a candidate, and in a pretty substantial way considering our income.
When RR was elected president, within months, I commented to my boss that we were in the presence of greatness in that president.
I feel the same this election. I only hope that Trump can hold to a tight focus going forward, as RR generally did.
PS, I may un-register as a Republican — can’t get the foul taste out of my mouth. Just like after voting for McCain and Romney. Blecch!
“How can this be? The dims have been insisting they are the party of the little guy for decades.”
Maybe because The Little Guy is tired of being The Little Guy and is finally doing something about it?
