If you only read one thing: The issue of terrorism is once again taking center stage on the campaign trail following a trio of incidents this weekend in New York, New Jersey, and Minnesota. Within minutes of the explosion in Chelsea—even before local officials confirmed it was a bomb—Donald Trump told supporters in Colorado it was a bomb and encouraged the country to be “tough.” Hillary Clinton adopted a more measured approach, waiting several hours to be briefed by aides and allowing local officials to conduct a preliminary investigation. Her initial statement spoke of those injured and warned against a rush to judgement. Trump’s risky strategy paid off as law enforcement confirmed it was a bomb Sunday morning and they are now hunting for a person of interest—a naturalized U.S. citizen originally from Afghanistan—that is likely to play into Trump’s on-again, off-again call for a ban on Muslim immigration. The 2016 campaign is quickly becoming a race over the style of leader voters want to respond to such incidents.

Trump is from New York City. I assume he has substantial contacts with various NYC officials including police. I assume these contacts would be with officials and with non-officials. I also know he has Rudy Giuliani on his campaign trail. I assume Rudy still has substantial contacts in NYC. Is it extreme to think the police commissioner did not have confirmation? It is extreme to think that Trump has a contact in that office?
To assert that Trump was uninformed about the cause of the blast when he has numerous avenues available to give him on the ground information is absurd.
Where is the risk in reading first hand accounts on the net or viewing video and concluding it’s a bomb? Geesh everyone knows that....and if it’s a bomb it’s almost a 100% chance that it was detonated by an Islamic.
It’s Time. It’s worse than the New York Times.

Measured approach. Pffffffffft!
Clinton is an apologist for Islamic terrorists. Anyone watching the news knew within minutes these were bombs. And the Minnesota Islamic terrorist, what’s her excuse there? We don’t need weeks, months, and years to see what is going on. We don’t need nuanced words, we need clarity and action, which is what Trump is stating and I fully expect him to act on once he is in the White House—team with Russia to remove Islamic terrorists from the map, everywhere.
That would be the reportage even if they both spoke the same exact words.
