The U.S. is in a fight with the Islamic State, but according to the White House it is a fight of words, not arms.
When it comes to ISIL (ISIS), we are in a fight a narrative fight with them. A narrative battle, said White House press secretary Josh Earnest while appearing on CNN Monday, the day after the U.S. suffered two bombings in the New York metropolitan area and an Islamic State-linked terrorist in Minnesota went on a stabbing rampage.

That is one of the gayest things I have ever heard
Only they use pressure-cooker bombs in theirs narrative.
Fox Host to WH Spox: People With Shrapnel in Their Shoulders Dont Think This Is a Narrative Battle
MACCALLUM: You mentioned earlier today you believe its a narrative battle were fighting. I think that for people who have shrapnel in their shoulders this morningthey might have a hard time accepting thatthat it is a narrative battle were fighting against ISIS. Explain what you meant by that?
EARNEST: I meant very specifically, Martha, were taking fight to them on the ground in Iraq and Syria. The president has organized an international coalition5,000 airstrikes in Iraq and Syria last couple years. What is important in the context of political debate is to remember ISIL is trying to assert a narrative, that they represent the religion of Islam in a war against the west and in a war against the United States. That is mythology. That is falsehood. That is not true. That is bankrupt ideology they are trying to wrap in the cloak of Islam. And to suggest that somehow we should treat Muslims differently or suspect them as terrorists just because of their religion
MACCALLUM: Nobody is talking about that.
EARNEST: We certainly have heard that inflammatory rhetoric from Republicans.
MACCALLUM: Were not talking about that here.
EARNEST: This is the context that I was asked the question about the ISIL narrative earlier today. it is important we dont play into the narrative. Too many Republicans are willing to do
MACCALLUM: This is the ISIS narrative. This is what they said in their recent publication. ISIS states that disbelievers should be slain wherever they may be. This includes the businessman riding to work in the taxi cab, young adults in engaged in sports activities in park, the old men waiting in line and buying a sandwich, striking terror into the hearts of all non-believers, Muslims and non-Muslims is the Muslim duty. So what people have a hard time with you knowyou have to take them at their word they mean to do what they say because we see it happening here in the United States. So, it feels sometimes like the White House doesnt like to make the connection between those two things. Is that wrong?
EARNEST: Well I think weve been quite clear. The president has demonstrated, you dont have to take my word for it. The president demonstrated seriousness, which he has taken this fight to ISIL.
Thirty people injured in the Chelsea bombing and this is a
“narrative” war? What joke. What about what is going on in the Middle East with out soldiers getting maimed and dying? Is that a narrative war? These people are insane.
Just a bunch of damned macaroons running our government. This country has become a laughingstock
The White House is staffed by idiot, liars, thieves and traitors.
We yammer, they fight? Sounds about right.
Pardon my French, but what the f#%& is a “narrative fight?”
Yeah. The narrative is we have a black racist anti-American Marxist in the White House who views ISIS as just another tool to destabilize the west and speed the advent of a new socialist state without borders - THAT is Obama’s narrative.
You can be sure of one thing. The devils that want to destroy us have no idea what a “narrative battle” is. They do know what jihad is.
Yep. I know when I get on a bus with a swarthy man carrying a backpack, I’m worried about being blown up with a narrative.
Sorry this is truly a “NARRATIVE WAR.” It is just that most people do not understand the meaning of the term.
If I may...thank you.
Narrative war:
1. We throw WORDS at them.
2. “They” throw BOMBS at us.
Understand now?
WTF is this babbling faggot going on about?
The criminal traitor liars just keep it up. What a bunch of absolutely pure macaroons.
It means they are merely taunting us....farting in our general direction. We the superior civilization must be patient and understanding and ....
Wait! They are trying to kill us! Run away! Run away quickly!

Our White House is under occupation by anti-American marxists.
They have been doing this for 1400 years, this is Islam , this is what they do, we have already had two wars with them. We can’t change them.
Islam is a political/military entity shrouded by religion.
OK Mr. Press Secretary, when exactly did the reformation of Islam occur?
“Pardon my French, but what the f#%& is a narrative fight?
They kill us, we talk to them.
“I got more nasty tweets than you do!” Nanner.nanner.nanner.
Geezus....
