A 28-year-old Afghani native wanted in connection with blasts in Manhattan and New Jersey that left 29 wounded has been caught after shooting at a police officer in New Jersey, according to a report.
Ahmad Khan Rahami was arrested after firing at the cop in Linden, WNBC reported.
Rahami, whose fingerprint was found on an unexploded device, was hunted in connection with the explosions that sparked fears of a local terror cell, according to federal officials.
Earlier Monday, FBI agents raided the Elizabeth, New Jersey, home of Rahami, a naturalized US citizen who was deemed armed and dangerous, Mayor Bill de Blasio said.
“We need to get this guy in right away,” de Blasio said on CNN. “My experience is once the FBI zeroes in on someone, they will get them.”
The apartment search began after one of five devices found in a backpack at a nearby Elizabeth train station exploded while a bomb squad robot tried to disarm it. No one was injured.

Just watch, because his behavior, i.e. walking down the street firing randomly while he was wanted, was strange the libs and lib media will now try to ditch any mention of Islamic terrorism in favor of a narrative that he was simply mentally ill. The Feebs will take the credit, but the NYPD CSU got the fingerprint off the device, local private surveillance cameras got his image, NYPD Highway Patrol stopped the five trying to escape( no guys, the FBI does not make traffic stops) and the Linden NJ cops brought the perp down, alive, which some in the federal govt might not have wanted. So big kudos yo the local LEOs.

Family and friends will likely say he was mentally disturbed......unfortunately most Islamic Muslims are...it can be no other way....that does not mean they aren’t aware of their violence or killings....these were well planned and thought out by someone....even if he was only the “delivery boy”...he knew what he was doing.

Cops/FBI want to capture them alive to get more info. I would hope he gets a life sentence in solitary. Starting at 28, that could be a long, long time.
I am sure all of the people who had family and friends maimed and killed in the last eight years by Obama’s Muslim Lone Wolves feel so much better today knowing that it was just nothing more than another Lone Wolf who set off the bombs in NY and NJ.
The average maim/kill ratio for the Muslim Lone wolves in the USA and Europe is about 50 to 1.
