It's never been this bad? Remember 1968

Our nature as Americans, in focusing on the present, is to quickly forget the past. Today the omnipresent news and social media cycles remind us 24/7 that we are in a war with an enemy our leadership fails to fully acknowledge. And we are in an ongoing culture war battling political correctness, with PC forces aggressively on the offensive. For many these first nine months of 2016 seem to be without historical precedent, the world about to spin off its axis.

We fail to remember that there was an existence before the Internet, before PC became the cause celebre for so many, and that there was no shortage of bad news and bad actors in the pre-ISIS/al-Qaida world. Consider the first nine months of 1968.

As America began that new year, the nation was growing weary of President Kennedy’s promise to “pay any price, bear any burden … in order to assure the survival and success of liberty” in a place called Vietnam. In 1967 11,153 Americans died there. Several times that number of our South Vietnamese allies (RVN) likewise paid the ultimate price that year to keep the communist invaders temporarily at bay.

While Americans at home could turn off or change channels on the evening news and still enjoy “The Beverly Hillbillies” or “Dragnet,” the world seemed to begin unraveling at a more rapid clip in January of 1968.

Yeah, it was a weird time for sure. Viet Nam, Soviets and the cold war not to mention the assault on members of the armed forces by the college commies stateside and just about anywhere in the world you showed up in uniform as well. Even sadder still is that yesterday's college commies are in power positions all over the US still trying to subvert the constitution.

Johnson was a socialist and an egomaniac, but he was not a pure Traitor.

We have a Traitor in the White House.

Yes, things are worse than 1968. Much, much worse.

I had to read about some of it from places unknown but not in the US. Had somewhat of a hard time pulling it up on the internet back then. LOL!

Yeah, pretty colorful.

I lived about 10 miles from the Watts riots (Los Angeles) in 1965, but ‘68 was the banner year.

The difference, and it is a minor one, was that those protesting the Viet Nam war and the Black Panthers were called out as being the communists they were.

Unfortunately today, we have the communists and the mussies. They all want to kill us and the msm and leaders of the country refuse to name them

It actually was a communist takeover of the USA-—all the institutions—particularly all the universities and curricula in pubic schools, to create a vast brainwashing and drugging system for our children (boys esp.) to destroy or warp the most brilliant minds of our future.

The McCarthy warnings were absolutely true, but the commies were allowed to destroy the senator and his name so that the communists could continue their complete infiltration of all our churches, institutions and all our media/Hollywood. JFK, jr. was killed for warning us also—and about the banking and Vietnam scam forced onto us by the psychopathic NWO sodomites-—the Shadow Government-—Secret societies that JFK referred to and was killed by two weeks after his dire warnings. Eisenhower warned us also-—but no one listened. Kissinger was one of the psychopathic puppets as is Soros and all the puppet organizations and new outlets he funds. All MSM is bought and controlled.

That’s because the commies and the muzzies ARE the leadership of the country.

Their efforts are not in vain. They are succeeding.
