Hillary book getting bombed on Amazon--Hilarious reviews.

"...1.0 out of 5 starsUnbelievable turn of events.......... By Daniel B. on September 14, 2016 Format: Paperback I was going to read this book.....I really was. But just as I got started, I found myself under sniper fire, passed out, and fell and hit my head. After that I got double vision and had to wear glasses that were so damn thick I couldn't even see to read. Then I had an allergic reaction to something and started coughing so hard I spit out what looked like a couple of lizard's eyeballs, my limbs locked up, and I passed out and fell down again, waking up only to find out I had been diagnosed with pneumonia 2 days earlier. Somehow I managed to power through it all, but it's a good thing I was able to make a small fortune on this random small trade in the commodities market (cattle futures or some such thing) and then, miracle of all miracles, a few banks offered me a few million to just talk to their employees for a few minutes - and all that really helped out because I swear I was dead broke and couldn't figure out how I was gonna come up with the 6 bucks to pay for this book, let alone pay the $1,500 for my health insurance this month. I still want to read it, but, honestly, what difference at this point does it make? I hear it sucks anyway..."

Amazon’s “Featured Recommendations” at the bottom of the page includes Folger’s Classic Roast Ground Coffee, 48oz. Package of 2 (’cause you’re gonna’ need it to finish this book)

I would like to thank Hillary for printing this all in blue ...

September 16, 2016

By Amazon Customer

This review is from: Stronger Together (Paperback)

First off, I would like to thank Hillary for printing this all in blue ink because the color blue helps prevent my seizures. It was a little bit of a long read, being 32,000 pages of yoga routines, but I powered through it. Its amazing to think that she wrote the entire book on a Blackberry! I didn't know it was a pop-up book until I got to the chapter about her husband, Bill and his oval office experiences. The only issues I had with the book were all of the annoying "C" markings in the margins.

I saved about 3 pages of text from the comments, am running TLS secure shell, it locked up my computer connection. I finally had to reboot my DSL modem, then the router and with a little effort got everything working again.

Amazon did not like having data copied and pasted. (I’m running Linux)

It is probably a security thing, but was surprised when it happened.

Yes, I was able to not blow coffee through my nostrils but it was difficult.

Absolutely hillarous. (Hillar(y)ous!)

Was not planning a purchase. Then, remembered Amazon Smile donates 5.3% of .5% of $9.59 to charity by selecting "Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation" 501(c)(3).

$9.59 x .005 x .053 -- that's .0025 cents!

One poster is asking why kaine is giving the nazi salute on the cover. You can’t make it up.

Isn't it obvious?

"Sieg 'Hill' ! "

(Yes, I know that means "Victory Hill" but to a Dem, it's all good because spiffy uniforms and shiny black boots are soooooo sexay, amirite?)

“I was trying to enlist in the Marines, even though I had just smarmed myself out of Yale Law School and was facinated by lesbians. The Marine recruiter was so fearsome I almost spilt my Starbucks Double Double Moca Frappe with lemon zest twist. He also led me to belive there wasn’t a Starbucks at recruit lounge. I think. I’m not sure. Anyways, I bought the book. I will now never look at a tree and not feel guilty. What a waste of wood pulp. After 7 hours of uninterrupted reading i found myself up tp page 3. Like a shipwrecked sailor cast upon the shores of a artic landfill. With each word I drowned again. Brain cells disolving into goo. I couldn’t take it. Braving sniperfire and a troll little serbian girl with flowers I returned to the Marine recruiter and am now happily in Iraq clearing land mines with my bare hands and a plastic pickle fork. Don’t buy it.”

“I made a mistake. I bought this book thinking it was novelty toilet paper. I must have misread ‘Stronger Together’ as a description of how it would hold up doing the ‘job’ (if you know what I mean). Imagine my surprise when I opened it up and found that it was really a book!
...

“I tried to read it. But doing so brought an immediate reaction. I began to retch and vomit. I ran to the bathroom and got it out of my system. But before I could exit my bowels felt loose so I sat down to excavate them. Ahhh....blessed relief. When I was done I realized my pesky wife had forgotten to buy toilet paper again. I looked at the empty roll. I looked at the book. And then something clicked. Full circle. It served the purpose that I had originally thought it had.”

Even Alinsky would be laughing at these. They are just like what he suggested in his Rules for Radicals -- in reverse, of course, as they ridicule one of his.

How many people are going to catch the lack of verified purchases and the contrast with the rankings?

My surprise is that Amazon doesn’t take them down, especially considering that, according to the rankings, the book is doing well on Kindle. I think KDP pays out $25k bonuses for sustained #1 rankings within a keyword designation.

No other author’s work would be subjected to this sort of abuse. One complaint to Amazon and this sort of trolling is ended quickly. A traditional publisher like Simon & Schuster should have marketing people watching this sort of thing and stopping it.

I despise and abhor Clinton. But a trolling program, while highlighting the wit of the reviewers, is sort of sad. Let her book fall on it’s own lack of merit. Simon & Schuster is laughing all the way to the bank. After a little scrutiny, this reflects poorly on the cadre of trolls, not Clinton or the publisher. It can backfire and provide them some undeserved sympathy.

Another interesting observation: why isn’t Amazon in her corner, being such huge libs? It’s as though they think her publisher might benefit.

I also don’t want to see the book reviews become politicized. Who’s next as a target? Trump? Matt Bracken? Stephen Coonts?

Love this most positive review!!!

What a fantastic book! I see that Amazon has this for under $20, but I paid slightly more. I bought this directly from the Clinton foundation for $3.5 million. Once I read this book it’s like everything in my life clicked. The state department released funds from an “associate” of mine who for some odd reason was mistakenly put on the terrorist watchlist. He then invested in my “housing development” project in Saudi Arabia. Also 14 of my relatives were able to get permanant resident status and my niece got a job at a US Embassy! I suppose I could’ve saved some money by buying the version from Amazon, but by buying directly from the Clinton foundation I got a special edition that is much thicker and has pages hollowed out for future “uses”. I hope this book has an audio version because I would love to pay for play...ing it.
