Edward Snowden, in exile in Moscow after leaking U.S. National Security Agency documents, said Friday he intends to vote in the U.S. presidential election, but did not say which candidate he favors.
"I will be voting," Snowden said, speaking at a conference in Athens by video link from Moscow.

I think the fugitive vote generally trends Democrat.
Probably Johnson or Stein.
Don’t be surprised if he photocopies it and puts it in the newspaper. It’s not like he can’t. Of course, he will also put a “why I voted for him” to it.
He’s a US citizen who has not been convicted of any crime.
It's abundandtly clear that charging people for the crime of unauthorized disclosure of National Security information is also dependent on rank within the Democratic Party hierarchy.
Maybe he should register to run for office as a Democrat, it would immunize him.

The Snowdon movie was pretty good and it hit Obama pretty hard.
Well then it will be Trump, according to the Democrats.
If he did I would imagine it’s in Hawaii, since he was working at a NSA facility located there. But I have no clue, and doubt very much that he does unless his parents live there. I suppose he could always claim his parents residency as his if he is register to vote in that location.
I was looking him up and that was one of the hits, so I guessed correctly.
Trump called him a criminal early in the campaign, so no.
What Trump called him is irrelevant. The story is really that Snowden thinks he will vote. Who he actually votes for in not important really.
