A majority of Texans oppose building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border and banning immigration from countries with terrorism ties, two of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's most high-profile immigration proposals, according to a new poll by the Texas Lyceum.
Fifty-nine percent of Texans surveyed said they were against building a wall to stop illegal immigration, while 35 percent supported the plan.

How many of those polled are illegals? Did they go to a holding camp to do the survey?

Based on the headline I was about to ask if the Austin American-Statesman was a liberal rag? Without a doubt. Has been for decades.

So? A majority of Americans were opposed to Obamacare and a lot of other things this government has done lately, but the government did it anyway. Didn't seem to bother any of the MSM one bit.
Of course, I don't believe for one second that a majority of Texans are opposed to the wall anyway...

I guess the poll was taken at the “editorials” desk at the Statesman.
No one polled me.
**Spoiler alert! I support a border wall/fence/mote/crater, etc.

Ain’t it the truth. At least illegals will landscape your lawn. Kalifornia leftnuts just deposit their wacky lifestyle and vote to raise taxes.

So the majority of Texans are illegals now? I knew it would eventually happen, but not this fast.

I saw that this poll has been copied almost verbatim in the Dallas Morning Snooze. And they tried to make us believe it.

Is this a real publication?
I wonder how long they will keep the comments open because his own readers are disagreeing with him. LOL!

Jamming a leftist agenda into a “news report” is SOP, not only for the Austin newsrag, but also the local fifth-column (ABCCBCNBC) propaganda broadcast stations in Austin.
Whenever a news story contains a conservative or Christian action or message, the local TV “reporter” will close with an extended counterpoint from some area leftist.
If the story is about some leftist perversion, no matter how morally disgusting, it’s treated as normal, and no conservative or Christian response is included unless it is edited to make it insignificant or out of place.

They must have conducted this poll in Austin.
