I admit to being more than curious as to how you found it?
Disallow same sex marriage, as the USSC cannot force States to change the way marriage laws are enforced and written. They have no authority, and if there is no written law there cannot be a breaking of the law.
This should happen in every state of the Union. Why was Oklahoma the first? TEXAS, where are you? Come on guys, step on it!! I’m too proud of my state to settle for second place.
So what you are saying is that Sooner is never better, right? 8>)
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
Remember in November !
Patriots need to support Trump / Pence by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trumps vision for making America great again for everybody, but will also put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes and likewise unconstitutional inteference in state affairs as evidenced by lawless Obamas unconstitutional edicts.
Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
That’s awesome; I did not know that fun fact.
**The most brazen of all laws passed, however, was the the law that officially declared Oklahoma as a sovereign state one not beholden to the directives of President Barack Obamas lawless and corrupt federal government (H/T Constitution Party of Ohio).**
hmmmmm............lol, thanks for responding but I don’t quite get your point. So, I will make mine a little clearer.
On October 8, I will suspend my good will towards the Sooner’s for a few hours while the Longhorn’s mop up the Cotton Ball with them!
The next 364 days commencing October 9, I will praise Oklahoma, sincerely, on a regular basis. Politically, I think they are a notch or two above Texas. But, that’s a darned high bar so that’s ok.
Never heard the expression, the sooner the better?
Does that help understand my comment of:
So what you are saying is that Sooner is never better, right?
lol, “YES”.........I am a die hard Longhorn Fan. In the mid to late sixties, I had sideline tickets (father worked for UT).
As for the expression “the sooner the better”, of course I have heard it but never in conjunction with Oklahoma Football Team.
I’m vaguely beginning to think that what your saying is that the saying “the sooner the better” is founded in Oklahoma State history? Am I getting closer? If so, I never heard that before and find it very interesting
Are they not called the Oklahoma Sooners? So for you, the Sooner is never better. Is that bell ringing yet?
