While he didn't attack Trump directly, he left NO DOUBT that he abhors all his policies and methods.
Conservative Orthodoxy is foaming at the mouth with hatred for Trump.
I liked Perot’s idea of a trade agreement. “The deal you get is the deal we will take for ourselves.”
The U.S. shouldn’t receive the adverse position on all trade agreements.
Something I noticed when he was interviewing candidates on his show was he would feed them a question/statement and Trump usually said something like, "no, Mark, this is where I stand on this subject" and Jindal and Cruz would answer "Exactly, Mark." They were the words both of them used, Exactly Mark.
That was before I knew about the fiance's ties to Cruz (I didn't even know his wife was gone although I did wonder why her pictures disappeared from his website (with the dogs).
What’s his problem now? Trump has been a model candidate lately! ;-)
I’ve never gotten Levin’s appeal. I did read one of his books (Liberty and Tyranny) because someone gave it to me. It was a clear and concise statement of what conservatism is about. But on the radio, Levin has always come off as a depressed whiner who yells too much. To each his own, I guess.
He’s an idiot
Sees klan behind every tree in Dixie and anti Semites everywhere else
That is his shtick
I used to love him
I’m a Cruz guy. My two top picks were always Cruz at #1, and Trump at #2. I didn’t have a #3, I didn’t trust anyone else running to actually do what they said they would do.
So when Cruz and Trump were the last two men standing, I was happy, I knew at that point that one of the two would be the nominee. And when it turned out to be Trump, I had no problem supporting him. My only disappointment was that the bad blood between the two prevented them from joining forces on the same ticket.
I never listened to much of the mud-throwing in either direction, which is why I had no problem letting it go. I always said, almost none of the mud thrown at Cruz is true. Almost all of the mud thrown at Trump is true... and he is still the best man running. If I didn’t trust him on everything, I absolutely trusted him on national sovereignty issues. Which, this election season, is the existential life or death issue of our time.
The interesting thing about Trump is that as time goes along, and he starts to realize this thing is actually going to happen, he gets more and more serious and firm. Areas where he was once squishy he has firmed up nicely and in the right direction. He doesn’t back down. And he fights. I already liked him, and as time goes on I like him more and more. And more importantly I trust him more and more.
I hear a lot of Levin-bashing and even Limbaugh bashing, because supposedly they aren’t pro-Trump enough. That’s not what I hear from them, though, I hear them continuously attacking Hillary and pretty continuously defending Trump.
Follow the $$$$$
Yes, it’s that simple.
He’s and Idiot. Ignore him and he drops off the airways as ratings plummet.
Mark, giving aid and comfort to the enemy is unacceptable. That Hillary ad featuring prominent GOPe statements is disgusting. Will you be starring in one soon? That should trouble you greatly.
Crazy behavior: doing the same thing that never worked out in the past and expecting a different result.
I do not listen to the radio pundit, you are referring to. And I do not want to be unfair. But the point is not really debatable. The Constitution absolutely calls for putting America First--see Trump: The Issue.
And who else in this year's campaigns, has clearly done so? The fact that he won the enthusiastic endorsement of Phyllis Schlafly, who sadly passed away, last week; attests the soundness of his Conservative credentials. Mrs. Schlafly has, since the Goldwater campaign, been the closest thing to a conscience for American Conservatism, as anyone could hope for.
