Its going to take more pesos to pay for that wall!Yes it will. It will also make a Mexican vacation cheaper, except for one thing. I vowed I would NEVER set foot in Mexico ever again.

I agree. For one thing, too many tourists get killed.

Remittance dollars buy more. Encourages illegals, which is the not so subtle point from Blomberg.

I vowed I would NEVER set foot in Mexico ever again. ......................... LOL, I drove through it in the 70’s, that was enough for a life time. Narrow village roads with donkeys with wood strapped to them and half expecting Oscar Bedoya and his band to be behind them.

My wife says Mexico in the central and southern areas is quite beautiful.
I won’t likely ever know, because there’s no way in heck I can see it will be safe enough to visit, now. Her parents drove through Mexico from the US and have very harrowing stories to share.

If the peso is sinking, it’s because the all-knowing, ever-wise Market thinks Trump will win.
Thanks for the prediction!

A cheaper Mexican Peso makes their imports to the US cheaper. It makes US Dollar remittances to Mexico more valuable. It makes crossing the border illegally more appealing to Mexicans.

I agree. For one thing, too many tourists get killed.Yes, that may be one of those politically incorrect truths that the US and Mexican governments don't want anyone to know.
It's the standard BS propaganda that assumes all 3rd world countries good, USA bad.
I went to Mexico a few times when I was in the USAF, at Del Rio, by golly Texas, but being it is the drug capital of the world, no thanks. Never again.

I only live sixty-six miles from Mexico. We use to spend New Years Eve at the Mederno across from Eagle Pass, Texas. It was a wonderful place to go. When I was a small girl my Mom would take me across to buy my shoes during WWII. I miss going across but I understand all the great places to eat are now closed along with the stores we traded at. We went across from Del Rio but mostly on business. Those days are probably gone forever . Very sad.

I only live sixty-six miles from Mexico. We use to spend New Years Eve at the Mederno across from Eagle Pass, Texas. I went to Piedras Negras once in 1978. The rest of the time, it was Ciudad Acuna, across from Del Rio. Once you crossed the border, you knew you were in a third world country.
After that, from 1980, it was 4 years in Germany, then 30 years in California. I must say, I liked California weather better than Del Rio. 😀😆😄

Never again.I usually say I'm not going back to Mexico again unless I'm at the head of a conquering army. Not kidding.
