The U.S. Secret Service appears to have broken its own protocol with Hillary Clinton's early departure from Sunday's commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks at Ground Zero.
In a widely circulated video of the Democratic presidential nominee's departure from the ceremony, Clinton can be seen leaning against a security bollard and then buckling and stumbling as her security detail helps her into a black van.
According to a former Secret Service agent who reviewed the video, the detail was clearly rushing and did not expect for Clinton to leave at that time. The former agent noted that it is against Secret Service protocol for the protected individual to wait for a car to arrive. In the video, Clinton is leaning against the bollard as a black van pulls up.
It is also very unusual for a detail leader to leave the protected individual's side, as a Secret Service agent, Todd Madison, is seen doing in the video, to open the van's doors. Opening the van is the site agent's job, according to the former agent; the detail leader's proper position is next to Clinton. The agent may have had little choice given the rushed nature of the departure.
The Secret Service did not respond immediately to a request for comment.

Why didn’t she go to the hospital?
Because this has happened before. Because that lady next to her is attending her. Because they already know whats wrong. And because the hospital is too public.
If I were to guess, and this is only a guess. She has Parkinson’s and she takes medicine every few hours. But this service was far longer than expected. And her medicine did not hold for the allotted time. You can see her at other times of the day, when she meets trusted friends. She is often seen holding on to them for support. She also seems to have eye issues. As though the SS is leading her around. I don’t know if its really eye issues or if she is just confused and does not know where she is.
If I am right, she will only be seen twice a day as her medication allows. And she will not be around the press very often in the off hours.
If she is elected John Podesta or Sidney Blumenthal will run the government. Bill is too old. And Keane is not trusted enough. Expect one of them to be named Chief of Staff.
Donna Mills, Huma and Chelsea will keep a 24/7 vigil around her. But will not delve into the affairs of the country.
Hillary will last 3 or 4 years. And you will get 2 pictures a day and three quotes. But you will rarely see her, maybe waving through a window like the Pope.
Where was zero today? Anyone know?
Was she the only person overheated?
I am curious to know how long she waited a the curb. Was it a very long walk? You would think the van is positioned pretty darn close and would only need a moments notice for a pick up area.
Thats what I commented earlier....surprised secret service let some kid rush past then into the protective bubble.
Either preplanned photo-op or pre-screened relative/friend.
My money is on photo op to make her look healthy and aware.
It appeared only 6-8 agents were in the vicinity and there was no car ready.
Can it still be a fail when you're under orders to break protocol?
Hillary doesn’t seem well in this photo taken just prior to the incident since the woman on her left is holding on to her as if she were blind or unsteady on her feet.
