On Inauguration Day, the next president of the United States should suspend the penalty for being uninsured under ObamaCare.
President Obama promised his law would provide an array of affordable health plans. In 2017, consumers will get neither choice nor affordability. In nearly a third of the nation, only one insurer will offer coverage thats no choice at all. And insurance premiums are skyrocketing across the country.
ObamaCare is broken. Slapping ObamaCare refuseniks with hefty penalties (averaging almost $1,000) for not signing up would be unfair, like enforcing a parking ticket when the meters broken.

He’s promised to repeal the whole thing
Has anybody actually paid the penalty?
KILL IT HELL, I WANT MY MONEY BACK!.......all $12,000 of it!

My son did.
People need to use this “penalty” money for their own healthcare. It’s the worst thing ever.
Yep, unconstitutional, no matter what Justice Roberts was told to think.
Of course Trump would make the pledge because he has pledged to KILL Obamacare but imagine the spot Hillary would be in. If you kill the penalty you pretty much kill Obamacare so she can't make the pledge. Almost everybody facing that penalty would probably vote to NOT pay it.
It is part of the law. Of course, it hasn’t stopped Obama from changing the law unilaterally and without Congressional approval.
Wrong. He needs to kill Obamacare. Period. End of sentence. The penalties are neither here nor there in the scheme of socialist things. Kill the beast; don’t just trim its toenails to lessen its snarl.
Huh? The whole damn enchilada is going away. Not just the penalty.
good thinking
If he doesn’t get a refund they can’t get their money, tell him to change his witholding
End it, don’t “mend” it.
Trump should issue an executive order on Day 1 suspending all provisions of Obamacare, pending a thorough review of the harm it has done to the healthcare system of the U.S.
Isn't that they way that the administration, our elected representatives, and the Supreme Court agreed it should be?
Didn't they roll out all the benefits first and then only later roll out the costs to taxpayers and consumers?
If we get rid of the costs then all that will be left will be the benefits.
How wonderful that will be.
I also want the insurance companies to give me free ice cream every day, and a free heart bypass when I need it.
Which would cause immense chaos and send us right into single payer. The insurance companies spent YEARS & MILLIONS of $$$ preparing for the launch of obunghole care. It won't - it can't - change overnight.
I dunno, but I already face the prospect of being hit with the “Cadillac Tax” once that cuts in in 2018. Supposedly there is something like a 40% penalty tax if your premiums go over $27K. Obamacare has already driven my family premium from $19K to something around $30K (yes, I am one of the unfortunate few who gets to pay full freight to cover everyone else).
On top of that, I lost my doctor who last year gave the middle-finger to Obama and Obamacare and “retired,” writing a scathing letter to all his patients about how Obama and the Democrats have destroyed our healthcare system. And my care now is crap, I have to wait months to see a doctor.
Screwed up Obamacare is one reason I am voting Trump.
Do you realize how scrwed up things are right now??? Healthcare is a shambles.
Yes, I have paid my PENALTY, as stated on my bill as "Shared Responsibility Payment". I have paid for my health insurance since I was 18 and since my divorce last year I do not have any because I now CAN NOT afford it since Obamacare was passed. I also ripped the door off the post office as I was leaving when I received my first "Penalty Bill"
