A bakery in Louisiana refused to bake a birthday cake featuring the words “Trump 2016,” prompting questions as to whether the business will be fined in a similar vein to how Sweet Cakes by Melissa, a cake shop in Oregon, was forced to shut down after its owners refused to bake a cake for a gay wedding.
Go to another bakery and never go back to the one that refused your business. Problem solved.
Guessing the bakery just lost 50% of it’s customers.

Go down the street to another bakery, there are plenty or do it yourself...(if you learned how to write in college)...

My guess is no, as Oregon laws do not apply in Louisiana.
I got the local WalMart bakery to put “Rot In Hell Teddy” on a cake after Ted Kennedy died. Free Enterprise baby!
Writing anything on any cake takes about 10 minutes of training... these “writers” are not exclusive by any stretch of the imagination.
Even in Oregon political affiliation is not a protected class.

Every identity group that IDs as a Democrat is protected. If you are homosexual, female, black, Jewish, et al and a Republican/Conservative you will NOT be protected if your rights are violated.
