Cruz fans who are butthurt + Hispanics who don’t like Trump’s immigration stance + Austin lefties and assorted transplants

Is that enough to flip Texas really?

You know, I know that Waaaaaahshington Post HATES Trump, but they really are willfully lying now.

The poll was conducted from Aug. 9 to Sept. 1, with the sample size for individual states varying from about 550 to 5,000. Respondents were recruited from users of SurveyMonkey’s polling platform, who were invited to complete another survey after completing separate surveys generated by site users. No margin of sampling error was calculated.

So now they are using... SURVEYMONKEY??!?

And REFUSING TO PUBLISH INTERNALS???!?

Nothing less than an outright lie.

The author of the piece:

Katherine Krueger is the breaking news editor at TPM in New York City. She was previously a fellow at the Guardian US. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin, where she was editor-in-chief of The Badger Herald.

1. I guarantee you that she would have NO trouble writing lies if that would help leftism.

2. REGISTERED VOTERS? LIKELY VOTERS? Just folks?

3. “No margin of sampling error was calculated.” Then it is NOT a toss-up. It is just a bunch of people answering a poll.

4. No indication as to how poll#1 filtered for poll#2. Let’s see HRC spend a day in a low pollen section of Texas (El Paso?) and we’ll see how seriously this poll is taken by anything other than former Madison school newspaper flacks.

WaPo has also found Hillary! leading bigly, in the all-important Washington Post and NYTimes newsrooms.

..5,000 polled in Texas, gave Clinton a slight edge, polling 46 to Trump's 47 percent support.

Other polls, in other states, mostly have Trump/Clinton in the low 40's. The Libertarian Johnson, the Green Candidate and "undecideds" make up a near 20% in most others that I have seen.

How is it that WaPo's poll of Texas leaves almost nothing to those other categories?

From what I heard they did polls for all 50 states. When one organization tries a really huge undertaking like that all at once, there are bound to be some screw-ups.

This just proves that the CBS Survey Monkey poll was very flawed.

The entire national poll should be diregarded.

They’re going to REALLY be surprised when their bs polls aren’t correct.

One of the SM polls a few days ago had 0 independents. It had 57.4% Democrat, 42.6% Republican and Hillary was in the lead by 6.

SM is the most obscenely disreputable polling organization, just slightly below PPP (the idiotic “polling” company that asked if people preferred Trump or Beubonic Plague).

It is interesting that you see three different campaign commercials for her down here, make me wonder why she is running ads in Texas unless she/they think its close.
I got an email from the Greg Abbott PAC/Group saying that they were tied in Texas.
I just don’t see how that is possible.
I know it’s anecdotal, but I know a lot of folks here who reliably vote Republican and don’t really like Trump, but none of them are not going to vote for him, or not vote at all, and they WILL NOT vote for Hillary or the other two.
