A coin toss has determined that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will go first during Wednesday evening's Commander in Chief forum, hosted by the IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America) and airing on NBC and MSNBC.
Clinton will take questions from moderator Matt Lauer and members of the audience -- which will largely be comprised of veterans and active service members -- for 30 minutes before Donald Trump takes the stage.
Both candidates stated a preference to be the second candidate to appear.
Dafna Linzer, managing editor for NBC News and MSNBC, performed the coin toss.
The event -- which marks the first time Clinton and Trump will be on the same stage, albeit not at the same time -- will be simulcast live on both networks at 8 p.m. ET.
“She needs to answer for bashing and lying to the parents of Benghazi parents!”
Needs to, yes, but somehow I doubt these lefties are going to ask her about that. She has to be protected by her media pets after all.
won’t fix the small food particles and liquid getting in her wind pipe and on her vocal cords
LOL
I see bikers in the crowd.
It doesn’t matter what she’s asked. Over the years she’s developed some clever ways to not answer, but sound bright while doing it.
“Well, as you know, blah, blah, blah....back in 20xx when I was in Xcountry, the prime minister/president and I agreed...so we’ll build on progress I’ve made and move forward for the American people. Our security only comes with the cooperation of other nations...”
They wont share the stage?
You just knew the lying media and D.C. insiders would concoct a new format to shield and protect H.Clinton. You just knew they’d tamper with the traditional debate format.
Very predictable.
I don’t think that she will have that cough tonight. Too much depends on her performance tonight for a cough.
sucky format....but 2nd person gets last word.
“What is this nonsense that they are not on the stage at the same time?”
I’m guessing it’s either the Hillary’s a victim meme, or they plan to use the super Barbara Walters-strength hazy lens on her to make her appear calming and youthful.
Perhaps she and the media have a plan to lose the live feed after she is done. I say this in jest, but nothing would surprise me.
I agree with you if you win the toss take the ball, never give up the opportunity to score!
Something just feels off.
As if something is brewing...
I wonder what they are planning.
What if soon to be President Trump is an hour and half late? What could they do...?
Great and thanks.
It just came on in AZ on MSNBC. AZ time is now the same as CA
First pitch, softball to Clinton.
Is everyone watching MSNBC?
