The was THE stick of choice but it refused to break either time. LOL! It’s one of the funniest things I’ve seen birds do in the years I’ve been watching nest cams. Glad that gal was out with her video camera to capture the moment. It was a winner!
Considering how large eagle nests are, yep, they have a long way to go to finish this one. They sure are hustling, though, and before we know it, they’ll have it finished and start the business of raising a new family.
I wasn’t sure which one it was. Haven’t followed them closely enough to figure out which is which yet.

We’ve had some drizzles for a couple hours.
I stripped my Mom’s bed...no glasses in any of the bedding or anywhere around or under the bed. BUT....I found 3 radios in her dresser drawer. I put them on top and I’ll see if there is any reaction.
She’s finally settled and the light is off. Today was some better.
Good morning, Mooch...not too bad so far. And I don’t have to labor on Labor Day.

Glad you’re getting a little rain at least. Better than none at all.
No rain here. Crisp blue sky with some cotton ball clouds. A bit toasty but the humidity was low so it wasn’t too bad.
The heat cranks back up this week along with the humidity. Back to the usual summer pattern - hot with small chances for pop-up showers. Ugh.
Wonder what the heck she did with those glasses! Was she outside with her flowers the day they disappeared?
At least you found the radios. Now to see if she notices them on the dresser or if she even remembers losing them. :-)
Good grief!!! They’ve come up with THAT many varieties???? Haven’t seen a lot of them so maybe the stores here only carry a few of them.

I’ve not seen a bunch of them either. My favorites are the white cookie ones.
I will be doing an ice cream run later today, but we don’t have Blue Bell here.
Root beer float, here I come.
The white cookie with white cream have no flavor. Just something to chew on, imho. The white ones with chocolate cream are good but we can’t get them around here any more. :-(
But none of them beat the original Oreos. They’re still the best (she says as she’s chewing on one. LOL).
Y’all are creating a hankering for a big bowl of ice cream. LOL! But it’s too close to bed time now so it’ll just have to wait.
No Blue Bell here, either. Breyer’s is the primo brand in this area. Mmm, mmm, good!
