Media doesn’t quite know what to do with the prayer shawl — and standing ovation — the GOP nominee received following his speech to an historically black church in Detroit. Donald Trump spoke at the Great Faith Ministries Church in Detroit on Saturday.
The church was super happy to have him here…
Everybody did really enjoy his speech.
Donald Trump ended with a bible verse:
I’d like to conclude with a passage from First John, Chapter 4: You know it! You see most groups I speak to don’t know that. But we know. If you want we can say it together. “No one has ever seen God but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
Some people did notice something weird, many networks cut their live feed when Trump was receiving the final blessing from the black Bishop.

I believe God is giving favor to the very diligent and dedicated to the work kinda man-- Donald Trump.
DT did not walk into this thing with “religion.” It looks more and more like God walked him into it without “religion” and then offered Donald “religion” and Donald said yes.
Good stern Calvinists, at least, would heartily agree with such a scenario. I hope that good hopeful Arminians would, as well.
The Proverbs leaves out a lot of qualifying detail, and it takes wisdom to understand the right way to use them. But often, diligence is a good sign of divine inspiration, and the rest follows. One CAN be “diligent” to do evil and other fates result, but this case is not being treated here.

It’s been argued that Donald did not so much raise his fortune as ride on a fortune that he inherited and that the market blessed. And this is true. But again he did not p*ss it away either, as is very tempting to many people inheriting stunning and soaring riches. He kept it personally under wise management, and succeeded far more often than he failed.

Think about all the great men of the Bible that God used.. Moses—yet he murdered an Egyptian. Solomon—yet he married many foreign wives and got goofy in his old age. David—yet he adulterated with Bathsheeba and had her husband killed.
God can and will use a great but flawed man in Donald Trump.
