At a private fund-raiser Tuesday night at a waterfront Hamptons estate, Hillary Clinton danced alongside Jimmy Buffett, Jon Bon Jovi and Paul McCartney, and joined in a singalong finale to Hey Jude.
I stand between you and the apocalypse, a confident Mrs. Clinton declared to laughs, exhibiting a flash of self-awareness and humor to a crowd that included Calvin Klein and Harvey Weinstein and for whom the prospect of a Donald J. Trump presidency is dire.
Mr. Trump has pointed to Mrs. Clintons noticeably scant schedule of campaign events this summer to suggest she has been hiding from the public. But Mrs. Clinton has been more than accessible to those who reside in some of the countrys most moneyed enclaves and are willing to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to see her. In the last two weeks of August, Mrs. Clinton raked in roughly $50 million at 22 fund-raising events, averaging around $150,000 an hour, according to a New York Times tally.

Good, one supposes, to be reminded of whom the ruling class really does consist and to have names for the gaggle of wealthy fools who actually do consider themselves our betters. Nevertheless, what struck me is that Hillary is amassing quite a pile here, and unless she purchases more air time than there is, she'll end up with a tidy profit no matter the outcome of the election, and the less she campaigns, the bigger the pile. It's always better to fleece rich suckers than poor, or at least it's a lot less work. Suppose she does pooch the election and walks away with thirty or forty million anyway. Could anyone call that a defeat?
Sure she did.
If you believe that, I'll deposit $500,000 from Dr. Mwase Mgoyo into your bank account tomorrow. I'll just need your account and pin number, and you're all set!
Hillary couldn’t remember the words to “Hey Jude”. She reportedly was heard singing “Hey Dude” instead.
She should be singing “Wedding Bell Blues” too.
On Nov. 9th we will be singing “Ding Dong The Witch’s Political Career is Dead”. Has a catchy ring to it.
Trump should bring up this article. Maybe at the debates, or add the substance into his stump speeches.
Perhaps he could take a page from Sanders and actually solicit small donations. Perhaps offer to match the small contributions up to some limit he can afford. What better way emphasize he is an outsider and even bring along some of the Sanders voters into the fold, or at least keep them from holding their nose and voting for her.
It feels rather awkward sending my piddling $50 from time to time to a multi billionaire. I also think he feels a bit awkward asking for donations.
Trump is courting the voters.
Hillary is banking donations from the ultra-rich, and does not seem to care about voters at all.
It almost seems as though Hillary Clinton thinks she has found a way to win if she has enough money, even if she has no voters.
I wonder what that could be?
Our dog behaves the same way Hillary does.
Normally the mutt moves slowly around the house and acts as though she can barely move.
However, drop a piece of meat on the floor or have a jogger run by the house—and get out of the way!
When Hillary has to appear in public or answer questions she looks half-dead—when she is hanging with the rich and famous who pay her for the privilege life is good!
Some pigs are more equal than others—Orwell nailed it.

Did she crash their party?
Apocalypse means ‘uncovering’ or ‘Revelation’, so it really is an accidental bit of truth telling on her part. She is an anti-Christ, so of course she stands in the way of the Revelation of God’s Truth.
Damn—that looks painful.
One must remember that the “super rich” are but mere mortals.
It's a secret, but it's initials are George Soros.
There is no excuse for not having a ground game and America has changed greatly in my lifetime. Am I wrong?
“There is no excuse for not having a ground game and America has changed greatly in my lifetime. Am I wrong?”
Sure, our country has changed within the span of our lifetime, but what’s that got to do with the price of tea in China?
People accused Trump of not having a ground game all throughout the primary, yet he smoked 16 well positioned, experienced foes (with the possible exception of Fiorina).
In the general election, he’s battling the Dem opponent, the media, the globalist establishment, turncoats in his own party, the rabid left, foreign influence and meddling ala Soros, apathy and defeatism among conservative voters, rigged polling, and an incumbent president who’s using every lever of power and influence he has, to stop him.
And yet, he’s now running slightly ahead of Queen Pickles the Recluse, who’s the beneficiary of every aforementioned advantage against him.
Lastly, it’s untrue that Trump has no ground game. His campaign is now aggressively opening up offices in all of the battleground states, and is bringing on board sterling talent to help navigate to a huge win in November.
The Clintons will keep all the donations after they lose the election just like the socialist Bernie Sanders.
