Windflier: "20. Broke his promise to endorse the nominee."

Which is precisely, 100%, the reason I have no regrets and no hesitation to support Trump today.

Most of the rest of that might be argued pro v. con, but a pledge is a pledge -- especially after everybody raised such a stink about Trump's seeming to waffle on his support of another Republican nominee.

“Most of the rest of that might be argued pro v. con...”

Au contraire, mon freep.

Cruz’s perfidy and parliamentarian trickery on the TPA/TPP issue, proved beyond any doubt that he’s a pawn of the globalist elite.

No person who even remotely supports the TPP can honestly claim the ‘conservative’ mantle, yet Cruz and his remaining blinkered supporters do just that.

And just how conservative is it to stubbornly remain non-committal about what should be done with the tens of millions of illegals present in our country, for six long months of a presidential primary, when that issue is Number One among primary voters??

Cruz couldn’t have telegraphed his real stance on illegal immigration any more clearly if he’d plastered it in bold caps on the top of his campaign website.

Those, and the other points I listed, are why Lyin’ Ted fell from grace among conservative voters. He fooled us for a time, and wound up paying a steep political price for it.
