There are night markets around most high end hotels/tourist districts in South East Asia. The massage areas are usually legit, at least in Thailand. This apparently targeted the president, his town/his hotel (stayed there, not owned).

Yes, Davao is the largest city in the south. It’s also the home of President Duterte. Unlike previous presidents, he doesn’t spend most of his time in Manila, but flies here as often as he can.

My wife and I just came back from Davao a few days ago and were at the location of the explosion. Her nephew is a medical student and is currently assisting the injured.

Security is tight practically everywhere in Philippine cities, especially Davao.

ISIS infiltrators vowed to "Bring the fight to the front door" of the new president who is from Davao. They may have screwed the pooch on this one though as President Duterte is a complete bad $ss unlike the current joke in in our Whitehouse.

This will be interesting to watch in the following days.
