DENVER The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs is coming under fire after three professors warned their class that there would be no debate on human-caused climate change and that any students who disagree should drop the course.
The professors, who are team-teaching the fall online course Medical Humanities in the Digital Age, issued the memo after some students expressed concerns about the first online lecture on climate change, according to the College Fix, which obtained a copy of the email.
The point of departure for this course is based on the scientific premise that human induced climate change is valid and occurring, said the professors. We will not, at any time, debate the science of climate change, nor will the other side of the climate change debate be taught or discussed in this course.
Opening up a debate that 98% of climate scientists unequivocally agree to be a nondebate would detract from the central concerns of environment and health addressed in this course, they added.
For those who disagree with the courses premise, we respectfully ask that you do not take this course, as there are options within the Humanities program for face to face this semester and online next.

Critical thinking skills out thw window. Your brains are belong to us.
lol
Government education sucks, at ALL levels.
Groupthink
Well, if the millions of tons of soot emanating from the dirty industries of China and India are falling on the distant ice packs and causing them to melt.
DON'T COME CRYING TO US... Bitches!
Wow - I hope these three “professors” have nice, cushy safe spaces they can crawl into in case anyone challenges them...
Medical Humanities in the Digital Age
When are the parents and taxpayers weighing in on this absurdity. Is there a “home school” for college students?
LOL! You have it exactly backwards. The charge against Galileo was for presenting scientific theory as fact.
Regardless if real scientists at some future time prove that politically correct global warming is scientific fact by means of the consistent results of repeatable, scientific method-base experiments, it remains that the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for global warming purposes.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.

The Scientific Method and Climate Science
So if scientists at UCCS are receiving federal funding in the name of global warming then, regardless what they are actually doing with the funding, such funding is unconstitutional imo.
No, the charge against Galileo was going against the Church and Ptolemy.

Actually it was Copernicus I had in mind. Never mind—Rosanna Rosannadanna.
That was before we surrendered public education to fags, atheists and communists. Pretty much the enemies of America.
.
Don’t these professors realize that they will pay out the ass too because of the lie of global warming/climate change. Or do they not care?
It is settled pseudoscience.
At one time universities were teaching students how to think academically but now they are taught what to think. There’s a big difference. The difference in being able to think for oneself and parroting what some blusterous conceited overpaid professor tells you can stifle innovation and new lines of thinking.
The university should drop these Orwellian *ssclowns.
As my dear departed Uncle Roy used to say, “If a bullfrog had wings, he wouldn’t bump his fanny when he hops!”
What on earth does anthropogenic global warming theory have to do with “Medical Humanities in the Digital Age”?
Especially since both Medicine and the “Humanities” are strictly analog, not digital.
