Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump plans to detour from the campaign trail on Wednesday to visit Mexico and meet with President Enrique Pena Nieto at his invitation, a surprise trip scheduled just hours before Trump delivers an immigration policy speech in Arizona.

Nieto and Trump each confirmed late Tuesday that Trump accepted the invitation and the two would meet in private Wednesday.

Campaign manager Kellyanne Conway told Fox News the two would discuss illegal immigration, trade and drugs. Trump running mate Mike Pence also said they would begin a conversation about a proposed border wall, along with other issues.

Yup. There is a variety of reasons why Trump is doing this. We will hear about it, and observe reactions from friend and foe, tonight or tomorrow.

Never forget the JFK assassination deception. His top Secret Service protectors protested but STOOD DOWN anyways and the President was a sitting duck.

Trust the SS? Their history says otherwise.

Oops, I forgot, it was a Lone Wolf.

The biggest source of income for Mexico is remittances sent home from Mexicans working (mostly illegally) in the US. It is a bigger source of income than their oil industry. Simply taxing those remittances will pay for the wall in a hurry.

And the looming threat of shutting that money flow down will focus Nieto’s attention wonderfully. I suspect that we will see a lot of interest in cooperation from Mexico for the first time in over 50 years.

MSNBC and CNN in full meltdown so that’s one good thing about it

Upside is very good for Trump. Soon to be President Trump already doing foreign affairs and the Lame Media goes nuts.

@francesco525....been with Trump from day one and will continue to be. What really drew me to him was his straight talk. I realize that he’s no a political animal and has to change his tone....but, I’m f*kcing tired of seeing mexican families of 5, with another on the way, in walmart - I’m tired of having to worry about whether my county commissioners have sold me and my neighbors out to muslims who want to build a mosque, cemetery, school and houses and trying to hide it all by applying as the Avery Community Church - I’m tired of listening to people talk about the IRS and no one talking about property taxes going thru the roof to pay for all of obama’s immigrants

I’ve never supported Clinton. I worked for the State Dept. They are nothing but a bunch of American hating scumbags, who should all have their citizenship taken and sent to some 3rd world sh*thole to live their lives with the savages they purport to care about.

So....I trust Trump. He hasn’t been wrong about one thing since this all started last year. He may have been a little gruff at times, but that’s what drew me to support him. Hopefully he’s down there right now telling that little sh*t Pena, to go f*ck himself.

Didn’t think about it like that, but I have to agree. Staring down the enemy in his own backyard takes Leadership and brass balls. Yet another shining example of why deserves to President.

That side is never intelligent. It’s not in their DNA to be smart.

But, as I replied to some others, I see your point and that of some others. This meeting can, and probably will, be a stroke of genius on his part. As I stated to someone else, he hasn’t been wrong about one thing since this started. Maybe, some day in the future, if/when this country gets back on track, we’ll be able to know about all the patriots that were able to help him along with tidbits of information.

ANYTHING good that comes out of this will be huge for Trump. It will give him (pardon the expression) gravitas to lead on the international stage. Imagine if he announces that he agreed to lay the framework of an agreement re: the wall with Trump. That would spring board him!

If I was Trump, I’d start off by asking him how can we work together to improve the lives of your people in Mexico and the US. The US elites and Mexico have used the Mexican people like pimps who trade prostitutes back n forth to make money. None of the pimps really care about the people.

I think that would be a good common ground to start at. Trump should say he wants to go beyond more than what is just good for the American people, but also the Mexican people.

Trump is a big thinker, an outside the box thinker and a win-win thinker. Plus he see’s the big picture, unlike people who are simply interested in peoples votes. He wants to help people, both people to get the countries back.

Those are my thoughts and how I see Trump. I see as truly genuine, others are so used to regular pols, they always see everything as a gimmic. Putting your own money up for you own campaign, is on HECKUVA gimmic.

"...Ain’t gonna happen and it would be inhumane because it would affect millions of innocent Mexican citizens...."

Well, that's sad and all, but my concern and Trumps responsibility is to the American people, not Mexicans.

I care about America first and foremost. We should demand that all our leaders do the same.
