Donald Trump is considering a last-minute trip to meet with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto on Wednesday, just hours before he is expected to announce his full immigration policy, the Washington Post reported late Tuesday.
Those familiar with the possible meeting said security concerns and logistics of the impromptu visit are still being worked out by both parties. Pena Nieto had recently invited the billionaire businessman to visit him. Trump mulled over the invitation over the weekend and decided to go ahead with it after his new campaign chairman, Steve Bannon, told his boss the move could indicate to undecided voters that he is open to a middle ground, compromise and bipartisanship arrangements.
Trump's campaign manager Kellyanne Conway clarified her boss's immigration stance Tuesday night following weeks of pundit talk the Republican nominee would only deport criminal illegal aliens and not millions of non-violent immigrants in the U.S. illegally.
"You will hear consistent Donald Trump in this way. No amnesty, no legalization, no sanctuary cities," Conway told Fox News' "O'Reilly Factor. "The people who have committed a crime are gone. And then he wants to see what we are left with. Is it 5 million? Is it 10 million? Is it 30 million? He will address that tomorrow and I think you will see one of the toughest speeches on illegal immigration in modern political history."
Trump is scheduled to lay out his full immigration policy during a speech in Phoenix, Ariz., Wednesday. His campaign had previously planned the message for last week, but bumped it, saying the nominee was still forming his stance after a meeting with Hispanic leaders.

it’s a trap for Trump. He should make the clown come here to America.
Such a trip makes no sense, even though some are reporting it is confirmed to happen. What does he have to say to the president of Mexico before he addresses the American people on a critical policy issue he’s been talking about for more than a year?
And this would have to be a quick, rushed trip down to Mexico City and back to Arizona for tomorrow’s speech.

From what I understand its a “Private meeting” not sure if the Mexican President is coming up here or Trump is going down there or they are meeting at a neutral place

Peña Nieto should take advantage and come to the U.S. now, before that wall goes up.
