Even before the FBI identified new cyber attacks on two separate state election boards, the Department of Homeland Security began considering declaring the election a "critical infrastructure," giving it the same control over security it has over Wall Street and and the electric power grid.
The latest admissions of attacks could speed up that effort possibly including the upcoming presidential election, according to officials.
"We should carefully consider whether our election system, our election process, is critical infrastructure like the financial sector, like the power grid," Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said.

The government creating a circumstance to step in and take over is kind of old; you would think they could think up something new. Waiting for Ryan and McConnell to ride in with the calvary.
Opening salvo to rig the election. Yes, we will have an election, but it will be patterned after what happens in Latin America.

I forgot to remind everyone — Homeland Security is the Obama administration.
Homeland takes charge, the vote count is held in secret, and hillary is ‘declared’ the winner.
The true votes are hidden away forever, along with obama’s birth certificate and proof of citizenship.
This stuff is already old. It’s been going on since the days of the Roman Empire.
What could go wrong with Obama and his loyal minions supervising what may be the last American election?
Paper ballots. It’s the only way to be sure.
Tonight I did a webinar for a voter fraud prevention organization and it brought up on this type of cyber danger.
Oh, now isn’t that an interesting observation: DHS can’t go declaring it critical infrastructure and then _not_ require voter ID.
No way, not his style. But, how about a Federally managed "impartial" recount?
....And plant the seeds for a future revolt.
How about controlling only certain precincts and counties for certain EC-valuable states.
You know. Like in a state with a non-Trump supporter, like, say, Ohio.
What could possibly go wrong?
And a f’n picture ID.

Handing the control of the election directly to the Democratic Party.....
