Quanell X represents ethno-centric blacks in the Houston TX area. Think of him as the Al Sharpton of Houston.
This radical black activist Quanell X endorsed Trump. Quanell X didnt come out and say Vote for Trump, but he certainly sent a shot over the Democrat bow.
This is much larger than people might think. Quanell X may not be known to you, but hes known to many blacks in Texas. At one point Quanell X was associated with both the Nation of Islam and the New Black Panther Party.
I debated him about three years ago. Though where we differ, we differ radically, there are many areas where we agreed. Our agreement proved to be a shock to the mostly Tea Party audience who attended the debate.
So the word is spreading. Trump deserves a shot. Apparently the racist angle isnt working.
Like the recent endorsement of Trump by the black church in North Carolina. Lets just say there are two buzzards circling around the Clinton carcass.
Imagine if black people decide to raise holy hell if Trump loses? How would the Democrats steal the election then?
Though not directly, Quanell X endorsed Trump. By not slamming him, black people in Houston will at least give the man a shot.
For those still worried, the outreach to blacks has only begun.
We can see, now, why Hillary is so worried.
Trump is VERY smart in not insulting these guys but going after their followers for votes.
Economic success does a lot to quell radicalism if those people are willing to put in the work.
He “feels their pain”
And maybe a bunch are waking up to Trump’s “50 years of nothing” message.
Of course Trump still plans on deporting unstable FReepers, so I know I’ll be gone :)
Can’t speak for you!
Hard to believe from Quanell X, but Trump has an opening that most Republican candidates would not have.
I don’t know about the ‘deporting Freepers’ thing, but I am with you on the rest of the post.
Politics makes strange bedfellows.
Trump is tapping the deep dissatisfaction we all feel with the lowering of American living standards, and the attempts by the Globalist/Elites to rule over us.
Every race, every level of political levels of activism, even up to radicals like the N.o.I. or N.B.P., we all feel it.
If the war comes to America, don't be surprised with who you find you are fighting alongside.
I wonder if the media will call Quanell a racist now.
GO FOR IT TRUMP.
He is making friends out of traditional enemies.
WHY didnt’ anyone else think of that.
He’ll make them an offer they can’t refuse.
He’ like Don Corleone. Nice AND tough.
We’re gonna win this thing!!!!!!!!
It is absolutely the most interesting election year ever.
The enemy may simply be forced to steal it outright.
I wish that was a joke. It’s not.
I’m only 48 but beat up and in no shape for a violent revolution so Trump MUST win.
GOOD thing is Trump’s no boy scout and I think he might have some pretty tough, willing to play dirty folks on his side.
GOOD
I’m ####ING SICK of being the gentleman loser!!!!!
Actually Laz, I see the possibility of Trump being a great healer. He has the personality and the heart for it and I would not be surprised if he succeeds in doing some powerful uniting.Nobody is going to get all they want, but many are going to get more than they expected with Trump. He’s proving it every day. The only oneswho won’t be happy are the uniparty globalists.
"Thugs" do not represent the average American Black person any more than Klansmen or NAZIs represent White Americans.
At one time (a very long time ago), I might’ve been a follower of Quanell X, or others of a very similar vein. I think it could be an interesting line of attack for Trump. Going all the way back to Malcolm X and maybe further, but continuing through Farrakhan and many others, there is a strain within black politics that is basically focused on community economic empowerment, cultural integrity, intra-racial cooperation, rebuilding black families, etc. There’s actually a lot of overlap with conservatism, certainly they hate white liberals, well they hate all white people, but especially white liberals. In their minds, it’s better to deal with wolves than with wolves in sheep clothing. I’d say that if you added it up, about half of black men and a much lower percentage of black women basically see the world this way.
Up until now there hasn’t been much of a connection between the GOP and this group however. They see mainstream patriotic conservative blacks as “Uncle Toms”, and what GOPer wants to take a chance identifying themselves with people who regularly engage in anti-Semitism, racial hatred, calls to violence, etc.? There’s not much in it for the GOP. Besides, they traditionally don’t vote at all.
But . . . for me at least, and I suspect a lot of others, once you’re off the Democratic plantation, you’re much more open to the GOP/conservative message. Someone like Trump, if he can get past the noise and say look, if you want to empower and rebuild your community, you don’t have to love me, or even like me, but just understand where your self-interest as a community lies, and it’s not with the current rulers of the plantation. Jobs, safety, a growing economy are the foundation of upon which a better future is built, not free goodies for votes.
I suspect if Trump keeps plugging away and hopefully just sits down and listens to a variety of black people, he’ll be able peel off some critical votes in this election. At the very least, he might be able to blunt the “he’s a racist” rhetoric enough such that there’s not a huge turnout against him.
I live in Houston and I am finding that Trump is gaining ground among blacks, even in what is supposed to be Queen Sheila’s district.
The opinion of someone named Quanell X does not matter to me in the least. Just because.
.
Add that to the list of things I’d never thought I’d see. Civic nationalism has a broad appeal.
Quanell X got his @zz handed to him in Pasadena, TX back in 2007.
If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.
“Quanell X got his @zz handed to him in Pasadena, TX back in 2007.”

I was unfamiliar with that and just looked it up.
Good for the folks of Pasadena——I wish I had been there.

Well I’m 75 and also in no shape for a violent revolution, but over the last few years I have exercised my 2nd Amendment rights to be ready should our enemies, foreign or domestic, decide to get froggy. I suspect you’ll be in good enough shape to pull a trigger when push comes to shove.
