Rubio is pretty much the Golden Boy down there.

Yeah, he's such a Golden Boy that he lost the Presidential primary in his own state by a landslide. Rubio may be a Golden Boy to the GOP establishment and its talking heads, but he's more of a tar baby for Florida voters. It would have helped if he would have at least shown up to Senate occasionally, for one thing.

Who needs Rubes? I am serious. Does he help Trump at all?

When you’re “going up against an enemy” .. you don’t hire a person who is willing to stab you in the back.

Primary is over. This is the general. I’m no fan of Rubio. I won’t be voting for him today and had not planned on voting for him in November. But if he gets on the Trump Train and sticks it to the GOPe never Trumpers I will vote for him. Time to beat Hillary. We can deal with Marco Amnestio later.

My concern is that Rubio’s “endorsement” of Trump will be like Paul Ryan’s - damnation through faint praise that’s designed to harm Trump’s candidacy rather than help him.

Did you read the article? Rubio was given multiple opportunities to “stab in the back” and instead attacked Hillary Rotten Criminal. If he’ll do that for the general and pull some of his voters to Trump then I will not look a gift horse in the mouth.

“A big picture needs perspective.”

Big picture? Rubio doesn’t fit into it. He was a charter member of the gang of eight and now with the media abuzz about Trump’s “flip flop” he wants to jump on Trump’s bandwagon?

Trump isn’t for amnesty and anything or anyone associated with amnesty Trump needs to stay far away from.

Ryan has been campaigning for Hillary endlessly for months, refuses to attack Hillary Clinton and refuses to campaign with Trump. Rubio says he will campaign with Trump and hammers Hillary often. We shall see I suppose.

If it does look like Trump in going to win, many of those snide GOPestablishment snakes will come slithering back.

Their hatred of Trump is superceded by their LUV of being close to power. Power over principles for them.

If Rubio is on the ballot in November, I will not be voting for him.

I do not need the help of liars.

It’s because loser Rubio sees Trump winning and wants coat tails! Where was Rubio supposed “support” in early August when Trump and his followers were getting hanmered? Screw Rubio! Unless Trump can use this as massive leverage against him later.

Rubio got about 27% of the vote in the GOP primary and Trump got 45.7%. If the 27% Rubio got in FL can help Trump win one of the potential swing states then go for it. The objective is to win 270 Electoral Votes to win the Presidency.

Most thoughtful strategy.

Maybe Rubio could say something like, I don't know, maybe this:

"And let's dispel once and for all with this fiction that Barack Obama doesn't know what he's doing. He knows exactly what he's doing. Barack Obama is undertaking a systematic effort to change this country, to make America more like the rest of the world. That's why he passed Obamacare and the stimulus and Dodd-Frank and the deal with Iran. It is a systematic effort to change America."

Maybe he can say it over and over.
