“They plan to use it everywhere.”
You are correct. When you combine zooming features with a look back in time feature (hours later) imagine the tactical advantage you would have. The BLM was a beta test. You’re right, this was all about using the technology not for individual criminals, but military planning involving crowds. The original system was to be used to track those who planted IED’s, identify, and kill them.

Uh, you’re missing the big one - that tracking device you carry with you everywhere you go.

👍👍👍

Mine's a flipper, GPS, Net, email, texting all turned-off; just a cell phone, and I'll bet they track me easily with it.

After NORAD got their heavily-guarded playtoy back, the whole story pretty much disappeared, except for a few local stations, and after they got calls from ‘mgmt’, it disappeared for good.

I was one of those people who also observed this at work during the war years. After a brief 10-min demo....I stood there and my first immediate reaction was....why can’t you introduce this into the US for law enforcement? It made perfect sense....some shooting occurs and you know the car involved. You track the vehicle back over the hour prior to some house, and you send a team to the house to arrest the owner (either he’s the culprit or he knows the culprit).

Look back over the past hundred years of military technology being developed and later pressed forward for public use. Same thing for NASA and it’s projects....the public benefits in the end.

In this case....if you as a city bought into this service and used it on an aggressive basis...your crime rate over five years would go drastically down.

Maybe you should revisit Waco. There were tanks, helicopter gunships, and army personnel there, all in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act. Waco - A New Revelation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xr9pQ1pIbiU
Also look at pictures of guns being pointed at residents in their homes after the Boston pressure cooker bombings.
Respectfully, get a clue.

I’d think that when your call is connected to a cell-tower, your location is identified.

And yet with all of the law enforcers on hand for the Twin Peaks case (different Waco event) we are expected to believe that they had no drones or other surveillance cameras (apart from dashboard cams).

Haven't you heard?

There's a war on this or that or the other thing going on here.

Kinda explains the standing army/police state we now have. The slimes call it the house of war.

In a world of good God fearing people this would work fine, except for two things.

One, there would be no need for it.

Two, that ain't this world. Imagine what psychopaths like Pickles will do with this power.

When the govt classes all citizens as criminals until proven otherwise- I guess we should all be concerned. However one first needs to recognize how the govt views it’s citizens

They’ve invented robots that look like
geckos and can climb up the sides of buildings and peer inside windows.

Exactly! I’ve seen video that really does show something that looks like a gecko, though. They’re also designing something that somewhat resembles a dog. I’m sure that will be improved as well.
