They’ve been saying 11 million illegals for at least 11 years. Can’t they do better than that? There must be 2-4 million in Texas alone.

I never quite understood the advantage of “touch back” as part of the policy, but your post makes it clearer.

They have to go back is clear, they have to be evaluated (have a hearing) is clear. If they are productive, how can they come back?

The answer is that there is not specified time before they can re apply. If the hearing decided they met the requirements for legal entry — no criminal activity, good record in school, good record on the job, no welfare fraud Etc. Then they could be brought back at once. The catch is that they must reset the time clock as far as when they can apply for any enhancement to their status. Like any legal entry there is a specified time for this.

Oh, and as to the hearing. My suggestion is to allow the immigrant to waive the hearing and go straight to the extreme vetting described above. If they do this, many can be handled without an overburden to our court system.

Note all this is after the wall and the deportation of people who have been involved in criminal activities.

Actually, Pierson explained that ‘softening’ meant a use of different words that were more clear about what he meant.

So, he’s ‘softening’ rhetoric....not softening policies.

He said as much last night.

favor of the policy, but I did not think Congress would ever support such a move.

Congress would resist, but the laws are already on the books. They could pass new legislation I guess but he could veto it.

I think it matters a lot what the ultimate voter results are and for the first time since 1948 I have no real grasp of how this election will turn out for two reasons.

1. I have no clue how many of the real voting population are now firmly in the Marxist category.
2. Voter fraud is very real since we have so much of our vote counting done in one way or another with computers, some even outside control of the US.

I hope I have a better idea by late October or Early November, but if Hillary's poll numbers are even close to real then the Republic I was born in is already gone.

Coming back ahead of those legally in line is unjust. We have enough injustice in this country.

Nice truffle you found here Kaslin.
As the author points out, the left was attacking Trump’s “secure the border, deport the aliens here illegally!” as we challenged Obama’s absurd statements: “I’ll lower the Earth’s temperature and level of the oceans.”

Trump is now explaining that what he is proposing can be done—and it ain’t grandiloquent bragging, like the dunghill rooster crowing—if you show you can do it.

Saying what you want to do, that’s making proposals and they are usually straight forward. As tactical and strategic matters, the solutions to the ongoing invasion of our country—enabled and facilitated by both parties for 30 years—are complex and multifaceted.

As Trump heads to the WH, as usual he’s playing three dimensional chess, the right hand not knowing what the left is doing, while Uniparty and their MSM scratch their heads wondering what king he’s taking next. But he’s got to get to 1600 Pennsylvania before he can do anything.

He promised to secure our borders. You either believe him or you don’t. He knows what brung him to the dance.
The alternative? Four more years of another irresponsible, scofflaw tyrant with yet another mozlim Wormtongue whispering in her ear.

Go Trump. Win win win. Break the bat over her.

That is correct. Besides, I am not a he and never have been.

Besides, do these two baby twins look like boys? I am the one with the big grin who's holding the doll, the other one is my late twin sister.

I believe Trump is making a few adjustments so as to allow for a BIGGER TENT>

I feel he will make it an UPHILL Journey for any and ALL illegales.

I would think 60 to 75% of illegals would head back to Mexico if they were confronted with paying back income tax on money they earned.

Trust that Trump is making adjustments in order to WIN the election.

I don't think his core goals have really changed.

Yup. Everyone talks about deporting illegals as if we will be putting them on a gazillion busses headed for Mexico. Most likely with gangs like MS13, probably yes.

.

With the rest, remove incentives for staying here, including employers hiring them illegally, but not in the payroll.

Law enforcement and no freebies will cause a huge number to SELF-DEPORT.

Trump should call a televised special session of Congress and identify the open borders and amnesty pukes and accuse them of violating their oath of office to protect the LAWS of the United States.

Then he should have ICE officials arrest Ryan, Cruz, McCain and the rest, as accessories to illegal immigration.

While this idea is impractical and theatrical, doing so would shed light on the lawbreaking traitors in Congress.

Let's also not forget the 19 Saudi "visitors" with EXPIRED visas who killed 3,000 Americans on 911.

.

If US law were enforced, this would not have happened.
